See newest video by Pate. He likes a little click bait, but tends to be in tune. If he is making a not looking good video, then it may be getting bigger than Napier can navigate out of.Some part of it must be lost confidence in the coaching staff, which is worrisome. Some part of it it symptomatic of the end of stability in college football, which is a bigger problem for all of us.
Those were Pruitt'sHeupel's '21 class looks even worse. way way worse.
Only Jaylen Wright is still here from signing as a Freshman.
Milton, Hadden, and Turnage WERE the only three transfers still on from that team.
Its incredibly likely that we will not have a single 4th year player on our team next year who started their career at UT.
I will never understand the recruiting appeal of Napier. You ever see a hot chick with a solid 3 of a dude, and wonder what’s going on there? Well it cannot be the same thing that Napier has to offer these recruits. He is dry, and doesn’t seem to be incredibly intelligent…uninspiring, his team is nothing to write home about, etc… I don’t know how he is able to out recruit anyone.Well we couldn't beat them out for a juco dlinman we wanted. The kid doesn't even have a position coach at UF yet......every thing is great here in knoxville..

I don't think its going to matter. Even the best recruiting class in the history of the entire sport couldn't save Jimbo. Napier isn't Jimbo, and their recruiting class isn't anywhere close to being the best class this season. They are out recruiting us and a lot of the SEC right now.
How do you get to be one of these top programs you speak of and their dominance?
Simple answer NIL $$$$$$$$$$$$
College football is forever changed. For the good? You tell me! Is transfer portal good or bad. Is NIL good or bad?
I'm 66 and 1/2 years old now. I DO remember when college football was more or less a pickup game between two schools and their students. It wasn't an NFL pre-school as it is today and nobody in it for $$$ (much along the same lines as the Rugby (non sanctioned by the schools) these days. NIL and transfer portal defiantly moved the "school spirit" index into the world of "I'm playing for me, not you". Honestly I liked the days when the bowl games meant something and the players didn't "opt out". Seems the concept of "team" is diluted, because if you were a good player and your team needed you, you wouldn't dare "opt out".
OK, I'm old and tired and by the way, while your at it, GET OFF MY LAWN!! (right?). (It's tough being a boomer)
