Gotta love people trying to make themselves feel better about the success of another team. UT is going to have to start winning 8-10 games before they can feel good about thwir chances against the Gators.

It's not that at all. Several, not all, gator fans have been running their keyboard on here talking smack. Which I don't understand why their here at all. I guess they like us better than those idiots on their gator sites. I am just trying to enlighten them to the fact that it's a false optimism. Besides, they stir the pot here all the time, thought I'd stir a little bit. U must be a gator fan, or one of the many that call themselves a Vol fan, only to stab a barb into us anytime you get the chance.

Don't confuse being a Vol fan on a Vol message board with being able to post nonsense that won't go unchecked.

Was some of my article I posted not factual? Take that up with espn. Are there not gator fans on here full of Shiite? Take that up with your kind. We will take care of our own on here. You do know this site is called volnation, it's not sec nation. Why do you feel the need to be here checking out our facts? You should be checking out some of those folks on your sites, there's a lot more bloviating there than here.

First off, I've got more credibility here than you do junior. Unless Freak is your dad, you don't call shots here.

Secondly, I only speak for me. You'll soon find there are plenty of Vol natives here who will call you out quicker than I will if you post nonsense.

Lastly, I've been posting here, and other SEC sites, for years. This is the best CFB team message board out there because there's very few posters like you who play the "us vs them" card with every post.

If you can't deal with rival posters here, use the ignore feature.

I'm attacking your bogus thread title, and the supporting article suggesting UF will stay "down" because FSU is currently on top.

UF's program hit rock bottom last year. If you think 2013 was the rule for UF and not the exception, then there's really not much more to discuss.

Personally, I enjoy the fact that rival fans visit this site. You and many of the other regular rival posters often enhance discussions due to your outside viewpoints and provide information about your respective programs that we might not be aware of. I always laugh when someone posts something like: "what are you doing on a VOL message board gator", or "what does this have to do with Tennessee Football" in the AROUND THE NCAA forum.

I have to correct you on this one mr credibility. The article was about fsu and Miami passing fla in the recruiting battle on offense. It also suggested that Muschamp has not recruited well, and when he does, several leave before we get to see them on the field. My bogus thread, as you called it, stated that UT was on the way up and fla is on the way down. I just need to refer to our recruiting last year and our class this year to verify that fact, we are currently 11 and fla is 21 with several high ranking recruits rumored to be headed our way. Thus, Muschamp on the hot seat, Jones being predicted to be coach of the year. I never insinuated that fla would stay down and neither did the article. It just said Muschamp needs this season to be a success or it's hire a new coach time possibly. I agreed, but made a joke about Zook being rehired. I don't think that will happen. But it might be a good time to start looking at resumes, because the article suggested 7-5 might not be good enough. And that's exactly the record I have predicted and posted for fla this year. But I'm tired now, and really would have never even posted any updates on fla, but saw their were so many of you here, thought you might be interested in what some espn analyst are saying.

UF fans are painfully aware of the state of our program.

7-5 gets Muschamp fired. His job hinges on the success of the new OC, players staying healthy, and swing games like Mizzou, UGA and LSU.

I disagree with the notion that "UF is on the way down" simply because Miami and FSU are out recruiting us. They recruited better than us most of the 90s, yet UF still ran the SEC, played for a couple NCs, winning one...against FSU.

If our offense shows signs of life, UF will land a solid recruiting class. Maybe I'm taking your thread title too literally. There's nowhere for UF to go but up after last season.

There's no barb stabbing going on dude. I'm simply saying we've went from giving reasons to why our Vols are great to coming up with reasons our rivals aren't as good as others think so we feel better about our own teams mediocracy. Let alone a team we can't beat even when they hand the game to us. That's like calling out the Bama fans that their team isn't the #2 team but #5 annd will miss the playoff and high five ourselvea for their "struggles" while our team struggles to make a bowl.
Its also pretty low to insinuate your own fellow. Vol fan is a closet rival fan. JS

Yeah, don't we all though? Mine are minor compared to Lawrence's deeply rooted issues. Maybe his daddy didn't love him enough growing up. Who can really say?
