I know we want davis who decommitted and dj humphries even though there are only 10 days left to try to pull them.

I am wondering how you feel about the state of the program.

Are you happy weis left? Who is rumored to replace him?

Are you concerned about urban meyer at Ohio state? Why do you think he left UF? Do you think he will hurt y'all moving forward in recruiting.

Can you summarize who all left under muschamp? I know Jenkins was booted but I did not know that studs like Shaw just left.

Sorry I do not belong to any Florida boards but I think Dooley is here to stay and whether he keeps or loses the fan base next year has to do with beating y'all.

Whether we get top recruits has to do with going against y'all often times. Whether we win the East will run through y'all and athens though I am not as worried as many on here about a uga team that is still to lose some important talent.

Mods I think that in recruiting where I know several uf fans frequent is a good place for this. The state of their program also directly impacts our recruiting in this cycle.

Thanks

Personally, I would like nothing more in life than to see this school handed the death penalty and become irrelevant from now until the end of time....I hate them that much

Unfortunately for you the NCAA doesn't hand out the death penalty for beating Tennessee regularly. :)

I'm disappointed Weis is gone. I think he is subpar. Belicheck and Brady would make any offensive coordinator look incredible. He sucked at ND. He sucked at UF. And he will suck at Kansas.

I wouldn't have minded him sucking at UF for 25 years though.

I was happy when Weis was hired, and now I'm happier he's leaving. I didn't think it was possible for our offense to take a step backwards from Addazio, but somehow it did.

I haven't been keeping up with the Mike Davis drama, so you'll have to get the scoop from someone else.

Over time my hatred of Urban will grow I'm sure. I'm disappointed he completely tanked the 2010 season and left Muschamp with the worst offensive line in school history. Two national titles in six years....can't be mad about that at all. Do I fear Meyer at Ohio State? Absolutely not.

There's a thread in here somewhere listing the kids who left when Muschamp came in...asking for details on why every kid left is asking quite a bit. Suffice it to say there were some kids on offense who were more suited for the spread than a pro-style offense, and several defensive players who simply weren't as good as advertised (Dee Finley and Josh Shaw) or were complete head cases (Jonathan Dowling and Chris Martin).

Our program is in transition, no other way to put it. 2012 will look a lot like 2011. We haven't recruited well on the o-line, but our defense will be very good next year. Bama rotates off the schedule, so that helps.

I'll be happy with 8-4....but 7-5 is much more likely.

I was not trolling.

I really would like answers to my questions.

I was not mocking UF.

I remember when people crowed that Muschamp turned down UT but took UF.

Now I wonder how people are feeling.

I also wonder if despite the titles he brought if Meyer is now more like Kiffin to us.

Thanks very much l Wright.

We lost Janzen and our d had no first round talent in the upper classes.

Somehow you lost a ton of nfl talent and your d will still be awesome.

If your o is good next year it may diminish weis even further.

Is meyer taking a uf coach to Ohio state?

I have met some uf fans who I despise but could say the same thing about ut.

UF in the next decade should be the biggest impediment to TN winning the East. No one can deny your recent dominance. To get to where we as fans want to go we will have to see you in second for a few years.

It sounds like there are no secret weapons on offense who will replace demps and rainey

Man, there's a LOT of revisionist history going on.

I don't know any UF fan here who viewed the Muschamp hire with anything but cautious but tempered optimism. We didn't know what to expect, and even the most irrational UF fan saw at least 3 losses on the 2011 schedule.

Are you happy weis left? Who is rumored to replace him? As you might have noticed in other threads, I am so stinking happy this fat piece of crap is out of my program that I cannot even express it in words. I never wanted him there, and you can look back in my postings and see that Im not just saying it cause he is going. He is a lying worthless sack of crap. Sept. 2006 Chuck accused Matt Trannon (mich st) of slapping him during a sideline scuffle. He screamed this at the refs, refs dropped the flag. MT got a 15 yard penalty in a game changing play. Replays showed that MT was never near chuck, and infact it was NDs Grad asst that roughed up MT. Lying sack of crap. It is how he functioned. Im glad he is gone.

Oh, I forgot. Rumors to replace chuck include: White - the current RB coach. Applewhite. . . whom he is very familiar with. And Kerwin Bell who is running the same style Offense at JU. Muschamp has stated that Bell is under consideration and Bell has said that he would love to have the job. That would be all I needed to hear. Hire Kerwin Bell. Done.

Are you concerned about urban meyer at Ohio state? Why do you think he left UF? Do you think he will hurt y'all moving forward in recruiting. Not concerned. O$U has gotten any recruit out of Ohio that they wanted. And those are great recruits. He will pull some out of florida, leaving a few in ohio that he normally would have had for someone else to pick up. If schollys were unlimited, I would worry. As it is, he is a great coach in a great program. But he is beatable.

As for leaving UF, He stepped down for legitimate reasons. Some of the health concerns were put to rest. Some of them were made better through meds, and relaxation. MrsUrb is not happy with this decision, which tells me it was just something that he couldnt pass up. He told the truth when he left Florida. He is telling the truth now: it was just too good to pass up. Im good with that.

I answered what I could above.

Im not sure if Dooley is the guy to turn things around here or not. But I know this: He is a good guy. A smart coach. And he is working his tail off for your school. So whatever happens, good or bad, I hope he is treated with respect. If he were a slackass lying sack of crap like Chuck Weis, then that would be different, but Dooley is a good dude trying to turn things back around. Deserves respect if nothing else.

I dont want to lose to UT, but I hope that UT wins every game except ours.

I have to give GatorBill credit on the Weis hire.

He was right and I was wrong.

Ive been dealing with his shenanigans since the day he was hired at ND. His very first press conference he made the statement "We will never lose to a team of the likes of Michigan State again"

The Trannon incident with Jabba was the final straw for me. Lying to a ref on the field, during a game, is "gamesmanship". But to continue to lie about a kid hitting an opposing coach, even after the game is over, is showing his true character.

Im glad he is gone. And I dont wish him well. (I wish the best for his kid, I dont know what this means for her.)

I live in Fl and I'm a hudge UT fan, but not a Gatorhater either. When it comes Urban I believe he was telling the truth when he left. Now CDD from what can only read and hear on the sports talk radio show. He is doing what he can with what he,s got. Lame duck didn't leave him with much of a team. And anyone who has watched the past two years can see that. But I do agree there needs to be some coaching changes made. If UT is to get back to being a power house in the SEC.

Vengeance is mine said someone very important...and vengeance had nothing to do with wishing the death penalty on a college football team simply because Tennessee can't beat them.

I don't wish the death penalty on UF simply because you have had success against UT, it's much more complicated than that.........it's because you're Florida
