Find a single positive from this stat sheet. Review the film one time, call out each and every crappy play and effort, then throw it in the trash and move on.

A really embarrassing effort, collectively. Keon and EJA played hard, but were too sloppy, themselves. Victor Bailey forces way too much. He has a place in the rotation, but he hurts the team when he feels like he has to initiate the scoring. Probably the lowest +/- of any player, tonight.

Significantly outshot from the field, from 3, and from the FT line.

First time all season we commit more TOs than our opponent.

Rebounding effort and execution was an embarrassment.

This team played with no pride, tonight. The effort and carelessness is inexcusable. Barnes didn't have his team in a proper mindset. He disappointed me, tonight, and I am generally quick to defend him. He did nothing to help his team, tonight, and looked like the lesser of the two coaches on a floor opposite of Mike White. That is, perhaps, the most damning evidence of tonight's failure.

Straight ugly. Offense has to play better. The entire game plan is wrong. SV is a 2 guard, and shouldn't drive. JJJ is non existent. Faulky trips over his own feet. Pons has the ugliest shot. This team cannot score in transition. And Barnes 10 pass rule before shooting is out dated.

Hard to argue with much of that. JJJ was our best player, in my opinion, thru the first 7 games, or so, but he has taken a big step back in SEC play. 14-38 shooting (36.8%) in SEC play, and averaging 6.2 ppg. That won't cut it.

+3 in offensive boards and +14 in free throw attempts are the only positives I see. Considering how badly we shoot free throws, it actually may be a negative to win the free throw battle right now. There’s some inner demons that need to be exercised whenever it comes to the charity stripe because that has gotten out of hand. Need to be at minimum 75% to have a chance to win on a nightly basis.

At this point I think Jaden is indisputably our best player, and arguably our most important (Pons and Fulk might beat him out just due to the players behind them)

Two big issues I see on this team that is going to hinder them come tourney time:
1. No one looks comfortable bringing the ball up the court. To add to this poor ball handling problem, no one is comfortable enough dribble in traffic to create off the bounce and get their own shot (outside of Springer that is). 2. Our bigs are just not very good. Fulky has been a major disappointment thus far and has looked lost as many times as he has looked good. Pons is not as aggressive on offense and has been lackluster on the boards. Don’t even get me started on Anosike. This has been doubly annoying, because it feels like we could have pushed hard and gotten Cardwell, who would solve a lot of our issues down low.

You named the two that played hard and that is about it other than maybe ticket who at least gives effort. Lack of effort is the most disappointing of all of this.

+/-s
Keon -23 in 33 minutes
Yves -18 in 29
Fulk -16 in 30
Bailey -16 in 25
JJJ -13 in 13
Gaines -11 in 11
Santi -9 in 25
Uros -8 in 6
ON -7 in 9
EJ -6 in 15
Pember -3 in 4
Wow. Just awful. +/- is a funny looking stat when you trail the entire game, but -'s across the board is simply embarrassing. Not one single player was able to net a positive number.

We passed up so many open shots tonight. Fulky passed up several open shots from within 8 feet.

Barnes and the team were a complete failure tonight. In his post game presser, Barnes said “ we’re going to change some things” with our lineup. Not sure what he can do with Springer out but if Pons doesn’t get his head in the game, Barnes is going to have him ride the pine.

Two of those included “we” and “us” so I would say he included everyone.
I suppose so, just seemed like a tone that laid all the blame at the players' feet. Perhaps I am reading it too cynically due to my frustration with tonight's game, if so my bad

Thanks for the stats . I feel like JJJ could be the real difference maker if he can elevate his scoring. We need at least 12-15 .I think he went for 20+ a few games ago. He's the most capable that's for sure. Really hoping he finds his offense . He could be such a weapon driving the basketball.

Even the +3 on the offensive boards is a bit misleading. Our offensive rebounding % was only 41.4% (17 ORebs on 41 missed shots) compared to Florida's 43.8% 14 ORebs on 32 missed shots).

This appears to be an accumulation of players and not a team. An unmanned Fla team pounds UT. Now Alabama is playing lights out while Tennessee is in the dark. Bragging about that defense is a joke. If we can't score we are going to lose a lot more games this year. #6 in the country. Now that's a joke.
