Florida recruits

My concern is we seem unlikely to build any offensive scheme moving forward. If we don't have the o-line to protect a QB, or receivers to run out some patterns, why is any QB who wants to look good to the NFL going to consider UF ?

That's the problem now, IMO. No reason to give us a look because we can't make them look good.

I'm thinking Charlie Strong might be the answer to our recruiting woes. I know, I know.

Nevertheless.

Any word on how Pease is doing with the O? IMO, he fit's better at UF than Weiss.

lol at this thread.
-Adams has grade and health issues
-Bell was a reach from day one and it was best for both sides to find better options. UF will wait on Ramsey or MA both upgrades and if they want L McQuay he's a Gator.
-Rod Johnson wanted to play the game after his HS coach was forced out. His former coach didn't allow visits or other staff at AH while kids are committed to other schools once the coach left he and Bryant decided to play the game. He also has WVU in his top 3. Red flag
-Outlaw wanted to take visits to SEC east schools and that's against Muschamp policy. Commits can take visits but not to SEC east schools and FSU. Then over the last week he decided he wanted to play OT after being taken at OG. The 247 guys said this is addition by subtraction bc he's not a OT at 6'4 275 pounds. Someone is giving the kid bad advise.
To sum it all up it looks bad to people outside the program but the only loss is Johnson bc the kid is a solid OT. Outlaw has upside and talent but he would only play OT at UF if all the other guys were hurt. UG will fill his spot with Tyler Moore, IRa Denson or David Dawson by NSD.

I want FSU in the SEC. I want them to show up on gameday and wonder how 25,000 Bama fans got tickets inside their stadium.
The Atlantic Division has proven too tough for them as it is (although they should win it easily this year).
Wonder if they'll have these shirts again this year. :post-4-1090547912:

None of those guys were "core" commits like Lane, Taylor, DMac, Hearn,VH3,Neal and Fulwood. It's over 5 months to NSD so it's toearly for panic imo.

Out of the 4 decommits only outlaw left on his own. UF will have another top 5 class come NSD.

Depends how their season goes IMO. A couple of recruiting battle games with FSU, SCAR, UGA, and UT can change a lot if an unproven HC like Muschamp doesn't win these games.

IF muschamp fails, who is on your short list to replace him?

Spurrier was just mentioned in fun. Love the guy, but as you say, his time has come and gone.

Ive tried to come up with a realistic short list, and when I look back over it, none of it looks realistic.

You can have Dooley.
