As a whole I'm not afraid of Florida. They seem like a 5 to 6 win team. Mertz definitely has potential to grow in this offense though. I'm glad we're catching them early.

Mertz is a capable QB. Honestly throws a good deep ball. You can't let him sit back in a clean pocket or he's good enough to pick you apart. He makes some bad decisions when he's flustered though and holds the ball way too long.

This game should be closer. UF has shot themselves in the foot a bunch and has cost them a minimum of 6 points on offense and another 7 points on defense.

Conversely, Utah is playing back up QBs and missed a couple easy TDs throughout the game.

Napier looks like Derelict Dooley Part Deux. If he doesn't beat the Vols, he's done and UF's years in the wilderness continue. Maybe we can pick off a couple of their highly touted recruits.

They might have made the same mistake. Dooley was all about the power before and after pictures and weight lifting goals. Power isn't everything. They look the part but they look THE PART. Too many false starts and holding penalties because speed is beating that gator tail and I LOVE IT!

Utah's defense is pretty salty. Good speed, hard hitting and sure tackling.
