Florida ticket prices

on game day, 2-3 hours before the game, you can get decent seats way below face on the street---no problems. florida sucks and their fans will be dumping tickets.

not after that blowout loss to alabama---muschamp may not make it through the season. after a UT loss, he may get fired.

Man, I hope that the whole stadium is packed orange with only a small blue section. I don't want the upper deck to be lined with blue.

Dont worry, Im in the upper deck. Me and my dad. We will be all Orange all day!:)

I guess supply and demand is name of the game. Over last several years if I got better tix or could not make it I sold tix for face and gave away a lot of tix for lesser games. I wished true VFL's could be within $20-30 of face and not trying to screw our own kind. I have donated for years and never made a profit getting rid of my tix, just wanted to get true fans in my seats.

Will there be a lot of UF fans at the game?

Back in the 90's and early 2000's (Spurrier/Myer Era), UF fans traveled in big numbers. I believe UT allotted 5-8 thousand tickets to Florida (it depended on how many UF would allow us to sell for trips to Gainesville). Lower Section A and the upper ten rows of the south end zone were solid blue.

Over the past six years many of their fans have jumped ship when it comes to making the long trip up to Knoxville. In 2012, I'd estimate 4 thousand Florida fans were there. At the 1:45 mark of this video (2012) the camera will pan the crowd and you'll see the UF fans, in blue, very clearly.

Wow. Cool sing a long. I hope there is not even that many this year.

you can still buy tickets through UT's website...MUCH cheaper that way.

I got the Orange and White package. Face at 85 or whatever isn't bad at all for where I'm sitting. Really liked section P for Utah State. Pretty good view, ideal height where I was and very easy to exit after the game. (And yes I did stay the entire time)

But yeah I get supply and demand and all that, but it does annoy men when people ask for more than twice face value. (Then you're profiteering, not sharing the love because you can' make it)

If we beat Georgia ticket prices are gonna sky rocket. A close lost and I expect them to stay were there at. A big lost and I expect a massive drop in prices.

market dictates price & that's what they're gonna go for.

The Vol faithful feel like this is as good of a year as ever to break the streak, & they want to witness it. Myself included.

The market never dictates $200 for regular season games unless you're a moron and pay it, especially not the way we've both fallen. I went to the UGA-UF game in '08 when both were top 10, with UGA coming off the '07 Sugar Bowl and UF ultimately winning it all that year, and I paid $100 for bout row 10 on the 50 yard line. I could look down in UGA's tunnel (yes the locker room is on the sideline).

I paid $137 for OU tix on stubhub then got out there and the 1st scalper I talked to was asking $80-$100 (depending who was interested) 6 hrs before kickoff.

I walked up and paid $15 for USC last year 30 min before kickoff. As you said it's a market, if the buyers draw a hard line they can control the market. Prime example; Oxford 2009, scalpers were wanting $80 each by the gate. I told everyone who walked up to inquire not to pay that, and for some odd reason they listened to a stranger but thankfully they did. Within about 15 min, close to 20 of us got tickets for $40 or less.

I've never paid above face and never missed a kickoff. Too many amateurs giving advice. My wife learned long ago to stop asking if I had tix pregame cause she knows I don't and that we'll get in and I'll never overpay. OU was an anomaly and one I'm not proud of, it ruined my streak.

Its gonna be worth a couple day's work to say i was there sitting in LL. When in 10 years when we remember this game as the beginning of the new era at UT. Go Vols! I wanna leave that game hoarse, excited, and with 100k friends singing rocky top!

My dad's tryin to get rid of 2 tickets to the Florida game. My dang sister is getting married that day. She's definitely not a VFL. But, if anyone is interested, they're in section Y9. Row 14. Seats 13 & 14.
$250 for the pair.

Tell her you're sorry, but that you promise to be at the next one.

I just bought 2 tickets from a UF fan in the visitors section for $80 a piece. 10 rows from the field in Section A. Too good to pass up. Am I crazy for taking those seats?

Where did you find that? UF forum? And no, I'd have absolutely bought those. I never find good deals. Just scalpers here gouging and just got scammed on Craigslist in august for a g10 pass from a so called vol fan in knoxville.. damn p.o.s. thief

No, a co-worker originally from Jacksonville, FL (and a UF fan) had 2 friends back out and offered me. I hesitated, but that would be the best seat I've ever had at a UT game, so couldn't pass on it.
