....and velovol's silence was deafening....

lol, i didnt say joepa didn’t have more arrests I just said I would like to see the facts. Congrats to you for looking it up I am a little surprised to see he had quite a few more.

Looking back I don’t think i ever called the kid a thug if i did i was wrong.
A DUI certainly does not equal a thug. Multiple arrests equals a thuggish program.

this was my orginal post that
im sure somewhere fulmer & Miami Atheletic dept are thinking jesus christ you guys are thugs.

In which I took a tongue and cheek shot at Fulmer and Miami. This somehow aggravated you enough to bring up tyler smith and brittany jackson (one of which got in trouble while NOT attending the university)

I do believe your program lacks overall discipline as a result of Meyer not coming down hard enough on players. It had to embarrassing when Spikes punished himself. I think this similar lack of discipline was one of Fulmers downfalls in the end. I will not lie UT has embarrassed itself more than I care to remember.

Im not even sure exactly what your gripe was. I took a shot at my school in my original post. Do I need to provide a disclaimer from now on?

You did ask why the double standard on Brittany Jackson, Tyler Smith, Richt and JoePa.
• No one cares about womens bball, I could care less if Brittany Jackson goes to jail for 5 years
• Richt hasn’t been kicking our arses for 6 years in a row, when you get a chance to take a shot at your enemy, however cheap it may be you take it
• I don’t really care about the big ten.
• I wont lie T Smith hurt, I was a pretty upset he got in trouble I don’t care what he says there is/was no excuse for putting himself in that situation. But he did get thrown off the team.

I hate the Gators. Meyer isn't the saint the media says he is. Tebow kept that team in line. He was such an Icon that the players were scared to mess up and let that whole fan base down with the second coming of Jesus. Now we will start seeing a whole lot of this stuff out of FL.

I missed where the media ever portrayed Meyer as a saint. He's been crucified in the media over the arrests during his time at UF, even though Mark Richt and Joe Paterno have both had more off the field problems the past 5 years.

You give Tebow too much credit...if what you say is true (and it's not), then Tebow did a crap job for "keeping the team in line".

Florida redshirt sophomore wide receiver Frankie Hammond Jr. was reportedly arrested Sunday morning and charged with DUI.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Hammond has been suspended from all team activities after being found speeding, swerving and driving with two open bottles of Crown Royal whiskey in his vehicle.

The report said he failed field sobriety tests at the scene, on Florida's campus, around 2:00 a.m. (et), after driving 45 miles per hour in a 20-m.p.h zone. It added Hammond is expected to appear in front of a judge later Sunday.

The 20-year-old was expected to be a key cog in Florida's passing game this season. He had four catches for 57 yards and a touchdown as a freshman.

What a silly thing to do... Hope he learns from this.

Any thoughts on the level of penalty for this? I imagine he'll at least miss a game.

Pretty lame deflections from the issues at hand...

Who's deflecting?

The kid got arrested almost 3 weeks ago, this is the second thread on the topic here, and the word out of Gainesville is he will miss the first 2 games.

I'm not sure what other information you're looking for.

I'm not looking for any other information. I comment that it is funny that he comes back just in time for conference play, and I responses that marginalize that first conference game because it is Tennessee. Lame.
