Florida's Carlos Dunlap arrested (merged)

I know it's not that hard to get into tennessee, but I'm pretty sure you can read back as far as one page

Whereas Florida is a beacon of academic excellence. Go back to whatever board is foolish enough to tolerate your presence.

not offended at all... just found it laughable in my google search this morning. Stick your foot in your mouth all you want... your coach is surely good at it

Maybe the people at gatorbait.net would care more about what you have to say. Try it out, we won't miss you. Promise.

c'mon buddy... reread... you can do it. I quoted a previous post.

Why would I re-read something that was posted by "some biased blogger," as you called the writer? If you have the facts, post them.

awww how cute. she does sarcasm.

here are the pesky facts if you care to read:
Arrested Tennessee players won't play - SEC Blog - ESPN

happened the 12th... didn't speak up until 13th

oh my and looks like here's more

Tennessee's Kiffin dismisses two players involved in armed robbery - NCAA Football - CBSSports.com

like he needed a weekend to think about dismissing armed robbers

and you are the last person that should be crying homerism after responding to a bama comment on richardson's arrest:

The difference in the incidents being there was a question of guilt and of the facts in the armed robbery. Lane Kiffin did not know who was involved and to what extent. Once that was verified he dismissed the players who were found to be involved

There is no question of guilt when you fail a breathalizer test. NONE

Urbie did the right thing by suspending Dunlap, but if he plays in the bowl game he will still have missed less time than Janzen Jackson did for a crime that he was acquitted of.

Also parsing the comments made by those close to the situation, Urban Meyer would not have suspended Dunlap had the choice been his.

Finally

Students arrested for DUI can face a minimum of one semester suspension because of UF's DUI policy, according to Student Judicial Affairs.

We will see if these rules apply to star athletes.

Congrats for Urban for handling this situation well so far. Maybe he's learning from some of his past mistakes

Good to see disparaging remarks about my alma mater, UT's head coach, and 18 year old UT athletes are still perfectly acceptable, but jokes about Florida's coach are forbidden.

1) He didn't take a breathalyzer. You really hurt your credibility when your first point is based on a factual error.

2) How do you know what Meyer wanted to do? You got that there ESP?

This just in from a source.....
Dunlap was not aware he had been drinking that night. He had been out with several UF players including Tebow, and something weird happened......................................

Tebow turned water into wine! So it's not Dunlaps falut! Let him play!

No...He has ESPN.
Remember that ad campaign? I couldn't resist.

1. You're right. He failed his field sobriety test. Not to mention that he FELL ASLEEP AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. My point that there is not doubt of his guilt remains

2. Based on the quote from Carlos Dunlap Sr.

ummm if you refuse a breathalizer by most state laws that makes you defacto guilty. you'd think a laywer would know this. . .

I don't think this is correct, at least not in Missouri or Alabama. If you are stupid enough to drink and drive the rule is you refuse the breathalizer and call a lawyer. Typically it is easier for them to get you out of the charges or make a deal because the prosecution has no physical evidence against you.

Once you take the breathalyzer, all doubt is removed.

welcome to VN kriffle

I believe that most of the comments are about the lack of punishment brought down by CUM.............. unless he feels pressured by the media, etc. as happened in the eye poking incident.

I apologize to all of Volnation for welcoming him after his 1st post.
