I'm not playing and haven't even practiced with them or been in the locker room since Johnny coached...I will worry about how we play, but I get much joy from the Gators dysfunction. JMO, and Gators will probably turn in the best game of season against us, but there's no way Gators should have made that many mistakes last night...if Billy is planning on sticking around for longer than 2 years.

Going back to last year, gators have lost 4 in a row and have scored 1 TD in the last 8 quarters.

Word is they may only get 60k in attendance for McNeese St next week.

Coaches will be interested in the job. No coach "worth it" will be scared off by a high standard or that the previous coach was fired for being incompetent. The problem is his buyout.

Yeah I guess. Auburn did fire their coach after not even two seasons and turned around and hired Freeze. Just seems crazy to me.

No other SEC (Maybe Bama) team deserves what the Gators are going through more than Florida…… my disdain for the Gators is obviously glowing!

Who knows what UF team will show up to play the Vols? But they have A LOT of issues that are not likely to be resolved in two weeks. Mertz isn't going to become Hendon Hooker in two weeks. Since Billy's scheme and playcalling have pretty much been an issue for 13 games now... it is fairly safe to say it won't change dramatically. One announcer pointed out that UF doesn't look particularly athletic. That very likely goes back to their S&C rather than raw talent. That's not going to change in two weeks either.

UT should monkey stomp UVA. They can then make corrections and continue to build depth vs APSU.

The Vols and Gators are at a crossroads. This could be a turning point in the series that will last for years. Stop being a kill joy and let people have some fun thinking about the possibility of UT becoming the dominant side of this rivalry for a decade or two.

You can count it but not me. Our game in the swamp will not be a cakewalk. They will play with their hair on fire and with this “over confidence” from most of our fan base will put more pressure on the Vols. They already have 2 or 3 books full of bulletin bd. material.
First games are not and I repeat are not very good indicators on how the season goes.

Watching the Florida gators play so horrible the other night and living here an hour from the swamp and seeing all these gators, crying even today as my heart, jumping up and down with joy
