I just jumped on the us open website, this Querrey kid only 20, and 6ft 6in. I'm not sure he will beat Nadal. I hope he gives him a run for his money. I would love to see a Roddick Djov match, is it me or does djov seem arrogant.

Djok seems to me like he is at the height of arrogance. He has alienated crowds around the globe. I don't think he's well liked by the other players, either. Like I root for the other team against Bama, I root for the other guy against Djok.

Dementieva absolutely cruised into the semis. I don't expect Jankovich to have too much difficulty with her quarterfinal match and the Williams sisters face off today. Exciting day for the women's side.

Who is Roddick playing today? I almost didn't recognize djok with the hat. Did he get hurt? I thought heard the announcers saying something about his ankle.

Roddick takes on Gonzalez later tonight. I really am unsure of any significant injury to Djok

FYI, it's being reported as a right hip injury to Djok. Either way, he's playing like a little girl. Scheming his way to get in breaks, taking too much time, I think he's broken two rackets out of disgust. Up 2 sets to 1 with Robredo looking to break serve and take the fourth set, up 6-5. Crowd not necessarily pro Robredo, but definitely anti Djok.

Robredo breaks and we move to the fifth set. Djok looks spent. It will take some great play for him to pull this out.

supposedly Djok's trainers are already reporting a left ankle injury from Round 1, a newly created bad right ankle, the hip injury and a tummy ache. Poor little guy.

:lolabove: Awww, let me send him a get well soon card... Poor kid will need to be in intensive care at this rate.

Are you all catching this Federer match? You gotta feel for Andreev when 20,000+ fans are cheering for the other guy. Although he should have expected it, it's gotta get under a players' skin. That being said, there's no excuse for knocking a ball into the upper deck when things don't go your way. My sympathy meter read zero when he did that.

Djov went on to win and Andy Roddick cruised by Gonzalez. Should I begin to get hopeful for an American? especially with how Federer struggled today?

I can only imagine how much the crowd will get to Djov against Roddick.

i was ok with the talk of the hurt left ankle in the first round and he did at least almost roll his right ankle. The hip injury, well I just really have no idea. But the tummy ache and taking an unscheduled bathroom break was just too much. I hope Roddick takes him down 6-2, 6-2, 6-2. Just humiliate him.

Hopefully, New Yorkers have caught on that Djok is a douche and make that match as uncomfortable as possible for him. Did you know that he no longer wants to have his name pronounced joke-ovich (correct pronuciation). He prefers jock-ovich now that he's in commercials. Can you imagine a football or basketball crowd getting ahold of that little tidbit?

I hope Roddick takes Djok in three sets. Nadal plays fish tonight, I would love to see fish win, I dont think that is going to happen. I hope he at least gets a set from Nadal.

If anyone's gonna take a set off of Nadal, it will be Fish, the way he's playing. I've never seem him even close to playing with his current form. I don't see Nadal getting through the next 2 rounds. First Roddick, then probably Del Potro who is playing inspired tennis right now.

Murray came through. He looked good in 4 sets. I was a bit surprised considering the streak that Del Potro has been on. Oh well, I can't guess them all right.
I'm betting Williams will win tonight! :)

I saw that, Bill. They must have some bad blood between them. You don't see them calling bluffs like that too often.

Evidently last year when Djok was mocking and impersonating other tennis players during the US Open the crowd ate it up. However, it was not taken well by a lot of players. I think Roddick was one that was impersonated.

The Roddick, Djok match just got under way, Roddick down 2-0. Djok even looks arrogant, I freakin hope Andy wins.

fna cotton. Roddick in a 4th set tie break is crushing Djok with his power running him all over the court and he tried to get fancy and blew it. Djok in the semis

and now Djok is absolutely burying himself for any potential non ATP money. What a horrific interview he just gave. You couldn't have schemed a bigger ahole.

Did he take his shirt off after he won? What a douche.

no. He ripped Roddick and said his quotes about Djok faking some injuries and having 16 different ones wasn't nice. "wasn't nice at all". Then was putting down the fans sort of for being all roddick.

Also boasted about himself saying that beating Roddick with this crowd and in Andy's favorite tournament is quite a feat and an accomplishment.

i also didn't know that USA would no longer carry the US Open. While I don't think they do a good job in their PGA Events, I've always preferred USA's coverage of the US Tennis Open than I have CBS's weekend and semifinal/final round coverage. I can't imagine ESPN won't hook up Johnny Mac and the other guy to do commentary.
