do you guys have any advice of a good place to go to learn to Fly Fish? I am going on a trip in September to British Columbia to fly fish and I don't know anything about it. I have a rod and reel, but I suck at casting. Are there any good teachers in East TN that you might recommend? I have no business going on the trip, but it is a family outing.
This outfit is local to you. It might at least be worth touching base with them and asking questions.

Also Lefty Kerr (sp?) Has a good book on casting. Spend Lot of time in the yard practicing and you will get it in no time.
I learned to cast in my front yard. May get funny looks if you have neighbors. Just tell them the squirrels are biting.do you guys have any advice of a good place to go to learn to Fly Fish? Anyone interested in buying a drift boat? I'm selling a Hyde low-profile. Its in fantastic shape - very little use.
Golfballs - you might try contacting someone at 3 rivers anglers in Knoxville. They might know someone interested.
Good looking boat, btw! Had mine on the Holston this weekend....took a couple chunks out of the glass, but a good day of fishing.
