For the Bama fans on the board...

which is why the hs kids can qualify for bama, but not for UT? I have several friends with kids at Alabama who went there because they didn't qualify for UT. One just graduated and is back home looking for a job.

Don't pay any attention to that fool. Just because a magazine that uses student polling to rank schools has one at 60 and another at 62 means about as much as a politicians campaign promises.

1. Yes we do have internet
2. Yes we can read
3. I have never seen a houndstooth trailer
4. Nearly every exit between Chattanooga and Knoxville on I-75 has a Waffle House as does most of the towns between Chattanooga and Nashville going up I-24

My view on the UT/Auburn game is one of complete indifference. It really doesn't matter and here is why. If UT loses it means Auburn wins and vice-versa. I want both teams to lose and neither team to win. You asked, and I gave an honest objective answer. For the poster that said UT beating AU helps Alabama, I say Bama needs to take care of both teams on their own and not need any help. All that being said, UT looks like a more complete team than I have seen them in a long time. Coach Jones has them playing above their capabilities and they are hungry. While I do think we will beat you guys this week, I do expect it to be closer than I would like.

It took a Bama fan to post a civilized post in this thread. I get the hate Bama, typical college level stuff, but sometimes. . . .a bit far. I hate Bama (fans) too but respect a team that wins consistently. Though I also think they get away with cheating on the NCAA rules much too often. All that aside, I await the day that Jones via conquest, accepts the SEC sceptre the former King Saban and reigns over the NCS kingdom for 16 years or beyond. The current king's seat is getting hot already:

Cracker Barrel > Waffle House IMO

Very true. I used to like Waffle House but then they started greasing the grease itself. I then went IHOP, but their quality in most places I've tried has slipped big time. Finally, started to just Cracker Barreling with very infrequent Bob Evans for a change of pace and scenery.

SEC,weak schedule?LOL.Bama was the first team in college football history to beat 10 bowl teams in 09.

Some have to rationalize the success of a rival because they can't bring themselves to accept it.

Your schedule this year is a joke. Less so now that Auburn and Tennessee are starting to revive.

Idk what happened there, man. Bama's acceptance rate is 26% lower than UT's.

Dont no one get the wrong idea, Im still more of a UT fan than bammers.

At Alabama, they're looking for a very particular, non-branching pedigree, if you will. Plenty of natives from which to draw, but they have a tough time going out of state and finding such limited gene pools. Thus the lower rate.

I used to hit up IHOP back in high school, was honestly never a fan of Waffle House (interior looks like a bathroom IMO), but the last time I had IHOP the gf had to rush me home so I could run up the stairs and puke. She was fine and I don't think it was food poisoning, that obviously takes longer than 30 min to take effect; I think it was just that greasy. My body was like yeah....no.

Ihop > Cracker Barrel > Waffle House IMHO

That' because you either have a dead tongue or swallow your food without chewing.

Of course I could be misjudging you. Every franchise has some locations that don't measure up to what the company requires quality-wise. I knew this from my frequent crisscrossing of the country in my earlier years.

. But as a born and raised orange-bleeding Tennesseean, it's practically my civic duty.

Practically hell?? It's in the state constitution. I re-learned to hate Bammer in first grade. It was originally taught in Sunday School.
