2009-10 team was #3, 2010-11 team was #4 in AP's final polls before the NCAA tourney. Both years we were #1 seeds.

Sorry I don't agree.
Holly last teams was derailed by
injuries in the Izzy/ Graves era.
Derailed by basketball divas DeShields
and Coop backstage destruction of team
cohesiveness.
A orchestra leader can't lead a symphonic group if the violin section and horn section is out of harmony.
And have each one their own agenda
apart from the conductor.
The music will suck.
This is the First time Holly has had
a decent chance apart from injuries
or descending parts to orchestra a perfect symphony.
Let her be a Leonard Bernstein and run the Philly.

My concern with the thing happening now is why I asked. We're looking awful stupid right now. All the analysts making fun of us. I could see thi happenimg to my beloved ladies and I dread the thoughts. Sorry you don't like the post but it is my prerogative!

Nothing wrong with your post.And everyone is making fun of UT.
It trickle down to every UT program.
And no one can deny this will not affect future recruiting. It's bad enough that we had the Coop and DeShields saga , and now this bull.
Not good at all.

only site I visit and regularly post on is this one. Since all this is going on I have been on football site once. I just had hip replacement and have been out of touch. And I'm upset about how we are the laughing stock. You people pardon me for not wanting my ladies to have to go through this. It was said they would have someone in place, you would have thought the football team would have done the same. So attack me if you will. I was simply concerned!!

We're looking stupid because of all the negavols and fans of other teams posing as vol fans who are posting negative stuff on the net. A very loud and entitled segment of the alleged fan base is social media savvy and exploiting that media to get their message out. While they do not represent the majority of the fan base, it is their message that is being heard. The national media is using all this negative social media content to portray our university in a very poor light as if media like ESPN needed any help bashing our sports programs. It is really disappointing that the university and fan base is going to be hurt dramatically by this so-called revolt and in the end, it will evolve to affect all our sports programs in some form.

We are only a laughing stock to people that have no clue as to what's been going on with that bunch on the hill. I don't care what the talking heads think. They are about to find out that Tennessee is on it's way back up. Go VOLS and go LADY VOLS!!

This was not against or for Holly. I only used"farh" holly because that's what some of the posters here used. I love my lady vols and only want whatever is best for them. I watch the football and the men's basketball and womens softball but my ladies basketball is forever and always #1 With me.

Whoa I wasn’t attacking you! I was just making the point the that Holly haters are going to hate because of what’s happened and the Holly lovers are thrilled with the start. HOWEVER, while it’s your prerogative to post whatever you want don’t get upset when someone asked you WHY YOU posted something like this CLEARLY knowing how each side feels! It’s been well documented on this board repeatedly and you are not new to this site or how the posters react when Holly is mentioned.

THE beloved LV are 7-0... The team also has seemingly better chemistry than in years passed. This team is off to a good start. This is something that can UNITE the fan base and if you were so worried about looking stupid ( or how TN looks as a whole) why would you even open a can of worms that could even be seen as devisive? That was my point and MY prerogative to asking you about the thread. But as another poster mentioned maybe it’s just your title of your thread that makes this thread seem like it’s stirring a pot. Only you know your own motives as it is your prerogative 😎

If you were really a LV fan, you wouldn't drag comments about "Farh Holly", "laughing stock", and "looking awful stupid" onto this board about a 7-0 team for other fans, the media, and potential recruits to read. You're just here to bash and stir up trouble. You ought to be the one begging the mods to delete this shameful thread.

but I wasn't attacking the team or Holly I just hope we do not end up with a situation like the football team. People marching and protesting no matter which side you are for. I came to this site to see how recruiting was going and because I missed lady vol basketball during the off season. I did not have bad intentions ever. I guess I'll blame it on the pain meds for not seeing that people would take it the wrong way.

those were not in reference to the lady vols just about what's been happening at the school but you're looking for a fight...aint going to happen. You are so correct

I had to like this post! I am sorry that my post came off as harsh I guess I took exemption to the “it’s my prerogative” with the “!” When I was just trying to say the same thing people with people remaining on their sides. Sorta like “ don’t feed the bears sign” we have some people on this site that are just here to rile people up so we need a “ don’t feed the trolls” sign! Sorry you are in pain and pray for a speedy recovery!

Holly has a problem of not correcting mistakes by the players.

One big one that needs to be corrected is the shot selection by Jamie who throws up wild shots. I just counted 6 in a row she just threw up hoping to go in. The freshmen do not do this. Jamie needs to pull up
if the shot is not there and shoot when her shot os there. In the big games, this will kill us.
