Holly has a problem of not correcting mistakes by the players.

One big one that needs to be corrected is the shot selection by Jamie who throws up wild shots. I just counted 6 in a row she just threw up hoping to go in. The freshmen do not do this. Jamie needs to pull up
if the shot is not there and shoot when her shot os there. In the big games, this will kill us.

Nared goes for the foul, as you should. Sometimes she doesn't get the call, but it's probably the right decision to make. She has a good pull up

Phil Fulmer will go a long way in bringing Tennessee football back to where it needs to be.

Phil is too loyal to people that aren't doing the job. That's great for friendship but no so much if your number 1 goal is to win.
Bottom line is that Phil will not fire Holly until we lose 20 games a season.

Alternative scenario:

Holly won't correct mistakes. Nared is our best player and she not be passive on the offense just waiting for an open shot or passing it off to others,. She needs to be aggressive and take it to the rim; she is a star player an will get the foul calls.

Whatever the LVs do, even in a blow-out win, "Holly can't coach.":jpshakehead:

Do we really want to end up like our football program? It was supposed to be a desired job but nobody want it? I'm afraid we will end up like the football team in worse shape than ever. We must be careful what we wish for. Look what we've done since we got rid of Fulmer!!

Do you still want to watch a once proud program continue to fade

2009-10 team was #3, 2010-11 team was #4 in AP's final polls before the NCAA tourney. Both years we were #1 seeds.[/QUOTE
Sweet 16 and 2 elite 8's where her last three teams, in basketball it is how you finish (look up final rankings if you want), not what you had done, those are not top 4 teams. Which is very similar to what Holly has done, and what she inherited was a team that just graduated 5 seniors.

We can do better than Holly. Not sure that's at the top of the priority stack right now, though.

That is what they said about Fulmer and Jones and you see what happen when we tried to replace them. The distractors have moved on and the team seems to be playing good basketball. I say, get off he back and let the team play in peace.
