It's going to be tough to recruit in-state or out-of-state talent to the 3rd or 4th best team in the state with the 3rd or 4th best coach. Floriduh is likely to revert to the days of Charlie Pell's scandals just to tread water.

No sir. I should have been more specific.

top 10 or 5 in the absence of head coach turnover. However, If JM gets hired and has 3 months to recruit for UF, his class would've been stronger.

Even if Tennessee sign's a number 20 class this year it won't matter. Star average is very good. Quality, not quantity. Tennessee has had two top 5 recruiting classes in a row and 2017 may very well be top 3. Gators won't get a top 3 class will horse teeth there.

# 1 on Scout, # 5 Rivals/247. Very possible with targets left on board and Clayton and Franks being bumped to 5*. Three others getting bump to 4*.

Lot of angry people in here.

All I know is that we have a 6 game win streak and will be ranked highly to end this year and starting next year. I also feel very confident we can win every game we play next year.

Dropping all of the you suck stuff, how do you Florida fans think you stack up next year to your schedule?

I see Tennessee at 10-2.

I'll need to see more of Del Rio, and get confirmation on Marcus Maye and Jarrad Davis returning before weighing in on 2016.

Tennessee should be the East favorite based on who's returning. Coaching is the question mark, the talent is there.

IF,,,if Shoop is hired, I'll give the nod to UT in the coaching department. Not trying to discount Mac, but Butch has added a great TE coach, DeBord (IMO) was a home run hire, Strip - Elder - Martinez, add in Shoop and I think UT trends up in all departments.

I think that's fair. Depends on our DC hire. What is latest on Maye and Davis. It seems Neal dropped a bomb on you guys but Maye might erase that since he was considered a lock to go and now might stay.

If Maye leaves I think you will have extreme difficulty in stopping our run game. If Davis leaves also, game over.

I still think Florida will be talented enough to win some games they should probably lose but lack of depth could also cause a loss to a team like Missouri.

This is fair. I personally think Mac is a good coach but who the hell knows with only 1 season in the SEC.

I can give an update on Jarrad Davis. His mom really wants him to stay another year, and will very likely talk him into staying.

You assume that star avg would hold up over 10 more players. In all likliehood, a larger class would dilute the star avg a little bit. We'd have Chidi and TD as 3* bringing it down. I doubt we've turned many 4-5* away at this point.

McElwain's first class at UF looks very similar to Jones' first recruiting class at UT. Both coaches had to work some magic to pull something together under short notice.
