what's really sickening is all these negavols that stay on butch's A$$ all the time about "SHOW ME SOME WINS" and calling for his head. here's a news flash for you, the season hasn't started yet so no there aren't any wins yet. let the man coach a game first before you try to fire him. until then show some support

I really like this post. especially the "whiners are going to whine". I just wish all these so called experts would let the man coach a little bit at UT before they hang try him.

No question, Butch is going to have to do More with Less if we are ever going to be relevent once again......it can be done, but, doing it in the SEC is going to be so very difficult.....Good Luck Butch....your going to need it

And, frankly, negativity is easier. The script for Oscar the Grouch was not hard to write. Grouchy Smurf wasn't hard to predict. Just pick something (or someone) and hate it.

Plus, the Half-full people aren't "I told you so" sorts for the most part. So, you can get away with more as a Negavol. You just say whatever you want, and then when things actually turn out ok, you throw out an "I'm glad I was wrong." How can you refute that? It's the Kobayashi Maru.

But, if things do go bad, then you have the mighty "I said all along . . . ", and you can beat people over the head with it. You have strong medicine!!! You are a freakin' psychic! You have great internet status and all your internet subjects must bow before you!!!

It's all in good fun. Don't get too bent out of shape about it.

I would guess a good portion of our negative posters are ignored or ridiculed in everyday life. Spewing contempt here probably provides some sense of self worth.

My man!:) You're definitely on my side of the fence. I said in another post our team could lose 67-0 and most of our "strawberries & champagne" fans would find something positive about it lol

:good!: I assumed from the forums that we had finished in the 40s or worse..."epic fail" and such. Then I see where we still finished in the top 20-25 and was shocked. Not the best, but not worth the whining!

Why dont we all just add 3 imaginary wins to the Vol record next year. Then we can go to an imaginary bowl game, anywhere we please. That way these negative people will be put in their place. Just dont try to buy anything real with your imaginary winnings, that could be problem. It's all in the attitude, dont let reality bring you down. Reality is very stressful, who needs that ?
