Only one coach candidate could have pulled off a top ten class this year. Gruden. He didn't choose to come, so we need to get over it!

Butch Jones was going after kids with his resume of coaching winning teams at 2nd tier schools. If you didn't have strong emotional ties to UT, would you gamble with your future (if you were a 4 or 5 star prospect) by picking UT over other successfully coached schools that will be in the national championship hunt?

I believe if UT can somehow win 8 games next year, we might start getting great recruiting classes again.

Ha! All the Dooley lovers consistently compared him to Saban. A lot of them even went as far as to point out his resume was better than Nick's when he was hired at LSU.

Perhaps you misread the post?

They were talking about HAIR. It is true that both do have lovely hair. And, in fact, it may have even been pointed out that Dooley has better hair than Saban. Dooley does have a more youthful look. Youthful is "IN" these days, you know.

I happen to ve a very positive thinking person just to let ya know. I know it doesnt come off at all on these boards and there is a reason for that. When it comes to my alma mater that has sunk the way it has the past 5 years, you're damn right Im going to pessemistic and negative. Tell me, besides CBJ and his rejuvenated energy, what positives do you see right now? Its called being a passionate fan and demanding and wanting more for your program! Why is that such a bad thing? Please, tell me?
