You are in denial.

1. He has not gotten the convention bump that even Al Gore got.
2. He is getting no publicity from the main stream media in fact they are saying his speach was not as good as they expected.
3. McCain chose a VERY tough running mate.

Things are not looking good for Obama. If my income was reliant on him winning I would start getting my resume' updated.

It's pretty naive to assume that McCain's got it made. The worldwide economic news has been horrendous for some time now, right or wrong, and the Iraq war, while going well today, is still a huge problem for the Repubs.

There is no way to make this a shoo-in for McCain, IMO.

I agree with that. But if you watch politics much you have to agree that Obama is in trouble. Not getting that Convention boost is not a good sign at ALL! He has been sliding in the polls and as of yesterday was only 1 point ahead during the Dem Convention!

McCain can def lose this race but right now Obama is feeling some heat BIG TIME!

OK beef, I'll make the deal that has been made on Vol Nation in the past with you. If Obama wins you must leave Vol Nation for good and if McCain wins I will leave Vol Nation forever. I'll take that deal with anyone that has at least 100 post as of right now.

Why would anyone, including yourself, entertain such a wager when it's still August?

frickin' chauvinist. I'm embarrassed for him. Backwoods TN hillbillies refuse to join the 21st century. Dems are apparently a close-minded lot.

I heard 615 was even contemplating how it would help McCain if Palin posed for Playboy. He just can't stop objectifying women. I don't know what his problem is.

I got caught up in the moment. I will honor that statement as I am a man of my word but I regret posting it because it was more offensive than I meant for it to be. Now I am considered a woman hater, so far from the truth.

Have you considered joining the He-man Woman Hater's Club? (a little Rascals reference for those old enough to remember)

I like it better when you are going after Bama and Gator fans. It sucks when I'm the subject but I guess I did it to myself today. :eek:hmy:

Man, why do you always have to bring gender into the discussion? I just wish the dems were gender blind sometimes man. I mean Hillary never stood a chance. It took a progressive party like the repubs to get a woman in office... because we are gender blind.

Now I know how TennNC feels. It's tough being the main target. Oh well, lets have it.

And that is the whole point behind McCain choosing Palin. He's going to ride the Hillary wave of womens power and smash Obama constantly on being anti-feminist instead of trying to win this campaign on his own merits.
