For those of you who want Dooley fired, at what point did you make your decision?

I have supported Dooley because he is the coach of the Tennessee Volunteers. At times I have questioned decisions, hung my head, shouted at the tv/field. However, I have consistently worn my orange and made the drive to Knoxville to cheer on our Vols.

I am not angry. I am tired and disappointed. It may just be time to move on. (By the way, I first wanted to fire Dooley after experiencing the KY game firsthand in Lexington.)

Yesterday punched the ticket for me. And I say that because there is no way we should've come out looking like that coming off of a bye week.

I don't think a whole lot of people really thought Derek Dooley was gonna be successful here. I think he was just meant to buffer the damage.

For those of you who want Dooley fired, at what point did you make your decision?

The Day Dooley was Announced by Hamilton (LA Tech has a HC that also serves as the AD?)

When Dooley called 2010 "Year 0" (Is this really our coach?)

TN's Loss to LSU in 2010
(We can't count to 11 Part 1.)

TN's Loss to North Carolina 2010
(Music City Misery)

TN's Loss to Kentucky in 2011 (KY ends the streak w/ no quarterback)

TN's Loss to Florida in 2012 (Gameday Debacle of 2012)

TN's Loss to Mississippi State 2012 (0-13 vs. Unranked Teams)

Other?

His teams performance on the field for 2 1/2 years

Florida game for sure. I actually had high hopes after the NC State game. Silly me.

I decided when he was hired that we had to give him three seasons no matter what, so he could recruit us back to a full roster. Then, it would be time to evaluate, and I honestly expected us to be looking again in 2012.

As for when the on-field results confirmed that prediction, for me it was a combination of 2011 UK and 2012 UF.

The Kentucky game took me off the fence. I was hoping the Florida game would put me back on the fence, but it just reinforced my beliefs. I have been watching the past few weeks just being numb about this season.

The teams we lost to have a combined record of 14-1. With wins over top 15 teams with LsU being the only loss. NC STATE beat Fl State. The SeC may be actually that strong this season. I think it will be after the season in the decision and asses the losses.

Agree with this. I am not angry with Dooley; I think he works hard and does the best he can - he simply is not a very good coach.

Hamilton should not have hired a coach with the horrid timing of Kiffin's departure; Kippy should have been named interim while a proper search was conducted. The timing of that abbreviated search eliminated several candidates from the very start. Pure idiocy, imo.

Why was this last loss the one to put people over the top? It was UK for me.

Personally, I've just been making excuses since the UK game. Bray was hurt, it was cold, players didn't want to go to a meaningless bowl game, blah, blah. I was hoping this season would be different. Florida got my mattress off of my bed, drug it out in the yard after the Georgia game, lit it last night.

I started to see the writing on the wall after the Kentucky game. I held out a little hope for the UF GameDay game but that obviously didn't work out.

If you were in Lexington to watch the meltdown on the sidelines like I was, you would agree the KY game showed just how out of control the team was/is under Dooley.

We've got plenty of asses.

I started to lean after the Kentucky game. NC State made me optimistic. Florida I got back on the fence....last night I jumped head first off the fence. I don't like the idea of having a 4th (that's including Phil) coach since 2008, but there isn't any indication of things getting any better around here....ever. Dooley will give us a career's worth of 5-7, 6-6, and 7-5 seasons if he stays.....unless those mediocre seasons make recruiting go down the sh*thole, then it's hello 3-9.
