I have never been a dick to him. Just call 'em like I see 'em. I have always enjoyed his comments - agreed or disagreed.

Its ignorant to call out a poster for not believing it was a great recruit.

as a coach, have confidence in who you sign and your abilities. Calling someone out like he did is juvenile and is a disgrace to good coaches everywhere.

Wait isnt Griff a well known sports writer? I cant remember him killing any UT player, especially a PG in Goins. I dont think he has ever broken any inside information either.

I honestly don't think he gives a rip about what the media thought about him. He's a players coach and it is one more thing he can do to get the kids to buy in and be motivated. We'll agree to disagree.

I think it's interesting that Forbes even cares about message boards. maybe he likes to hear what the die-hards are jabbering about. you would think it would be beneath him to actually comment on it.

I agree. Looks to me like he's calling it as he sees it and is sticking up for one of his kids. I guess the truth is hurting the feelings a few a little bit.

Classless (as it was termed above) is anonymously ripping on a team, coach and players of a team you supposedly support.

Individual A - sticks up for his kids and actually uses his real name.
Individual B - Anonymously plays tough guy on the internet.

I know which one I think is classless.

I don't remember hat RIPPING him, just saying he was no better than Maze which seems to have been accurate last year.
