Forget Georgia and Texas, why is no one talking about Nico Iamaleava and Tennessee?

To be honest, we haven't beat anyone yet. Texas made playoffs and won @ Michigan (not sure Michigan is that good but they are defending champ) while UGA has been the top program over last 3 years. Of course they are talking about them.

This is an opinion I see more and more national media starting to reflect..

Good find. And I agree…Tennessee seems to be the most dominant team thus far. Followed probably by ole miss…then Texas and Ohio state. But I think both tn and ole miss haven’t reach the mountain top in recent years while uga has won nattys and Ohio state and Texas have been in the playoffs. You gotta reach that next level before the national media will take you serious. And honestly…I bet Heupel would prefer no additional rat poison anyway

Today is THE day!! As much as folks want to downplay the "personal" side of this game and try to act like it's not a big deal, I think it's a HUGE deal!! And we'll find out eventually, after who knows how much time, what CJH REALLY thinks about the whole deal..I'm sure he will be received warmly at first, and then?? The OU crowd will be brutal during the game..I can tell you from my own experience, the person(s) who railroaded me from a position I dearly loved a long long time ago?? It took years for me to forgive, much less forget, and completely move on..When I had the chance similar to the one CJH has today to show them just how bad a decision they made, I was merciless..And I think that's how the Vols will be today..MERCILESS!!

What leads you to believe that Oklahoma isn’t a good team?
Oklahoma is good on their trash field. I think they’ve played their first 4 games on their trash field this year. I’m eager to see what they do against a quality opponent at an away game.

Fair or not, our season is coming down to Georgia and Alabama. We win one of those we should be playoff bound and might be SEC Championship game bound. I say should, we can't lay another egg like 2022 but our schedule is very favorable this year.

I posted this before watching the game as I had only listened to it.

Here’s how I see things.

Oklahoma’s defense is not just good, they are very good. Especially at the line. Our offense can say it has been tested, and exposed in one areaa—the OL. As I presumed preseason, the lack of depth and blue chip talent along the OL did and will pose issues against teams with stout, deep defensive lines. We got all we wanted from Oklahoma on that front (pun intended), but we also have to remember that’s a Venables product. We saw how much it hurt Clemson when he left. When he was there, they were among the best two teams in the nation 4 times I believe? And the best twice.

Their offense has been pretty bad. They put up low scores against the 117th SOS before playing us. So, while everyone is raving about our defense, I still believe they haven’t been tested. Albeit, you don’t have to go too far past the eye test to believe in them after what we just saw against a struggling Oklahoma offense. 11 TFLs and 2 sacks, 36 yards rushing, and 196 yards passing that would most likely have been less had we not played prevent defense the last couple of series speaks volumes about their abilities. Still their performance throughout first four games speak volumes about Oklahoma’s offense, because we didn’t put up those types of defensive numbers against UTC, NCST OR Kent St.

Again, I’m not saying our defense isn’t as good as many are saying, I am just saying they haven’t really been tested, because Oklahoma is indeed bad on offense.
