Formula 1 Thread

You'd be surprised.

Forgot to set my clock this morning to get up and tape the GP. Thanks for exactly 0 re-airs, Speed. :banghead2:

i find it hard to believe this thread hasn't had any action since 07.

kind of an uneventful season opener today.

I think we had another F1 thread (or two) mixed in here along the way.

Vettel crushed this weekend.

Should be in for a real decent race this weekend. Malaysia is occasionally an exciting race, plus rain will likely be a factor. Lets hope that Mr. Hamilton and the McLaren crew have closed the gap to the Energy Drink team.

I want to watch just to see how the rain and tires work out.

I agree, these Pirelli tires are unknown quantities in the rain. I actually would not mind a dry race either. The race in Australia didn't really show how the tire would hold up in a typical race, because it was fairly cool that weekend. Some people around the paddock have predicted up to 4 stops in the dry this weekend.

now that Vettell figured out how to win a world title, it won't be long until he's in a Ferrari.

Well I guess it makes sense to look for an F1 thread under Nascar

The original title of this forum was something along the line of NASCAR and Auto Racing. Don't know why it was changed, and would suggest it be reinstated.

Absolutely. The feeling as one of the top fuel or funny cars goes right in front of you is crazy the first time it happens.

Anybody else a fan of anything aside from NASCAR, Indy or F1? WRC? Rally America? SCCA? NHRA? Drifting?

Super GT, Superleague Formula, GT1 and GT3(especially GT3), Aussie Racing Cars(and it's French cousin the Mitjet Series), ALMS, F3, GP3, FFord, BTCC, Auto GP, GP2, Superstars, USAC Sprints and Silver Crown, Modifieds, Dirt Mods, LLMs

You know, it might be easier for me to list the things I don't watch.
