Formula 1 Thread

also, for those interested, Senna is playing at Regal Downtown West in Knoxville. I'll report back when I see it this week.

definitely a difference between stupid and dangerous.

You should check out one of the other videos titled "Crazy Rally Fans". Watch the one where the crowd blocks the road after a blind hill that puts the car airborne. Insane!!

Portugal 86 I believe, somewhere in the late 80's when they had to cancel the rest of the rally because the fans were being ridiculous.

Anyone here think young Bruno Senna might actually come good? I was underwhelmed by him last year, but if he races at monza as he qualified at spa, we may be in for something.

I just hope Lewis brings home the car in one piece. I love watching him fight and go for it, but he could have taken the championship last year if he played it safe. Same thing this year Canada, Hungary, and Spa could have been wins or podiums. A potential 75 points squandered.

Hamilton may be the Tim Richmond of F-1.

Went to see it in Nashville a couple weeks ago.....fantastic. Downloaded the directors cut the next day, it's almost 3hrs long and still haven't had time to sit down and watch it all.

I liked the film.

I still like Prost, I must say he fit the villain part well, but they did show him as being compassionate as time went on.

What was interesting about the film was that very little of what was in it was new to me but it was very well put together. I am looking forward to seeing this on blu-ray.

Anyone getting F1 2011 next week?

Apparently it is supposed to have a co-op online campaign, where you take the role of drivers on one team.

I plan to get on Xbox.

I may need someone to be the Jenson Button to my Lewis Hamilton.

I'm getting it just so I can race at Spa.

I'd rather be Bin Laden to your Hussein than be either of those two clowns.

I'd love to collect points and wins while you stuff it in the barrier, but I only have PS3, sorry.

Hamilton is the worst World Champion in recent memory.

if Timo Glock doesn't miraculously drop an anchor on the final lap of the 08 Brazilian GP he's the second best driver on his own team.

To, each their own I suppose.

I personally think he is easily one of the most exciting drivers in decades. I think he is a great World Champion, who when he gets his hands on a better car will be knocking out wins right and left.

I also love that he speaks his mind, and isn't afraid to set it out. It's just a shame that the media likes to jump down his throat every time he speaks up.

And yes, I have been chugging the Hamilton Kool-Aid.

he drives for one of the best teams in F1, both currently and historically. only way he gets his hands on better equipment is if he gets a gig with Red Bull, where he would still be second fiddle to Vettel

Is that like being the ugliest guy to have sex with three gorgeous women at the same time?

Lewis is a match for Vettel over one lap. That McLaren is horrible in quali.

even the sun shines on a dog's ass some days.

not sure who was behind the Glock move, but they really didn't want Massa winning in his home country.

i have a feeling it's not going to be too much longer before Vettel is earning the cheers of the Tifosi, which may open up a seat for Hamilton.

I say that in equal equipment with Vettel, he beats him. Doesn't smash him, but would beat him.

Vettel is a lot like Schumi though. Methodical.

I believe the cars are more important than the driver in F1 than in any other series. Look at most starting grids, the team cars tend to be grouped together.
