If the fans and/or observers were to actually see the precision components required for the entire car, minds would be blown,,I know someone with a close working knowledge of Haas and F1 operations..There are literally thousands of precision tooled parts contained within an F1 car that have literally hundreds of sensors to monitor the thousands of parts..When he tried to explain a small amount of them to me I was lost after about 3 minutes..I believe Haas might actually become a world leader in precision machining and precision tool and die within 2-3 years from this endeavor..According to my friend they have already begun accepting and completing orders from all over the world from just this modest F1 beginning..I knew about a month ago that the team expected to score at least a point or 2 in Melbourne but didn't want to appear arrogant by stating it publicly..They have taken their time and meticulously prepared for this season from the smallest detail to the largest..I can't tell folks just how proud I am of the Haas effort and planning because they are doing this from scratch, organizationally speaking, and have found a tremendous partner in Ferrari to provide the things they need the most..Filling in the cracks is always the hardest thing and Haas has put the right folks in the right positions to ensure the cracks are, so far, getting filled..Believe me when I tell you Grojean and Haas shocked the entire F1 world by scoring those 8 points in Melbourne..I actually think it is only the beginning of several point scoring days and hopefully a top 7 in final Manufacturer Standings..America has a team in F1 and should be damn proud of them..Who knew???? Apparently only a hopeful few....
