Rome is great. If you can't laugh at yourself, then you are anal. Rome cracks on himself all the time. The emails are hilarious....Dear Jim....He has a great show, but it isn't for everyone. You have to have a sense of humor and enjoy sarcasm. However, he was all over the Pat Tillman story among others. His takes are usually on the money. So he cracks on UT, the whole country is cracking on UT. Neal Boortz (sp?) cracked on UT. Giving 1/2 a game suspension is laughable.

I don't see how it's laughable. Given the circumstances, I think it's probably too stern. It sounds like he didn't do anything wrong.

Jim Rome burning wouldn't be a bad thing in my opinion.

Look at the dude's name.

hitandrun.

that's right... hitandrun doesn't have time to read through entire post to see if it Rome's chumpness has already been posted. hitandrun is not surprised, given the expansive chumpiness of Jim "i got the smackdown laid upon me by a girl named Chris" Rome. nonetheless, other posters should check with me FIRST before they post something even remotely witty and/or amusing.

This just in: Rome's still a chump.

I'M OUT!!!

besides, who (besides jim rome) gives a crap about jim rome? just because ESPN has Rome leading the heisman race, and #2 in the BCS doesn't mean he's all that.

wait... no i didn't just start the double-whiney post about Rome AND ESPN, DID I???

Underage consumption, in a club at 3 AM, and he has done nothing wrong? Whether you agree with the legal age of 21 or not, it's a law. All 3 players are 20. Like mentioned previously, Morley was suspended half a game for missing class, which isn't a law. You would think that getting arrested for disorderly conduct and underage consumption would be a tad bit worse than skipping class.

Not sure if I agree with you there. I mean he was arrested right?
