Oh I know. If that was LG's point, then maybe we did reach different conclusions. I thought GS was somehow implying that our freedoms were a bad thing, seeing as how they were being "used against us." I thought you were agreeing with that.
No doubt they are using our open permissive society and culture against us.
While we permit the Saudi's to fund mosques all over America, in Saudi Arabia it is forbidden to own a Bible or even a cross.
You're mistaken. There was no intent or purpose of any kind behind gsvol's post. He was just stating something for no apparent reason.
And?
What exactly is the alternative? I understand it is just a point you are making, but I'm unclear as to the purpose. Are you advocating a closed society?
Pat Robertson?....is that you?
Why must we keep starting these threads that are destined to turn into flaming piles of dog ****?
C'mon folks, this is crazy. The same battle gets fought by the same half dozen people on either side in just about every thread on the politics forum.

guess we'll know for sure how this is going to turn out when the Imam is named. If he's a bomb-thrower (pun intended) like the Al-wacky guy Obama put a hit on, then it's going to cause problems.
No, actually was hoping as a Christian that you weren't.
But you quoted gsvol and the tenor of it suggested that to me. You say that wasn't what you meant and I accept that.
I see signs from the Tea Parties along the lines of "This is a Christan Nation," or words to that effect. For the life of me, I can't think of any reason to tout that message at such a gathering other than to promote intolerance to other religions (and by that I mean to make it arbitrarily difficult for them to practice or coexist with Christianity).
I understand that basically all religions have at their core a claim that theirs is the only true religion and that people of other faiths are doomed. But I've always felt that premise was either read too strictly or at least that its one of those things where our own judgment of others is pointless.
GS's comment said NOTHING about them being blocked/banned from our country. ONLY that they ban the Christians. Jeeze

Free elections gave us a socialist president.
.....Not saying anything about free elections, just stating a fact for the hell of it.
ftfy.
come one, Jihadwatch and creepingsharia seem like completely unbiased sources
Considering gsmcarthy's previous posts on the Islamic population, I don't blame LG for his inference.
I am suprised Brentwood hasnt already had a mosque. Check out my hometown, Columbia, to see what happened down there.
Few drunk boys decided to go buy some gasoline and do the big fire thing. Took those cops less than a week to figure out who was the idiots. The video at the Kwik Sak showed them filling up a 5 gallon gas can.
Those boys got sentenced finally and are going to have to do 15 PLUS years for that night. That is some serious time. Hate crime or whatever they call it, no messing around, gets the nost serious sentences in this country.
But what was real nice was the way all the other churches in town helped out and came to support that mosque. It made me proud to know that we can all come together. Seriously, it was a nice moment for my little hometown.

This country was built on the principle of religious freedoms. It's one of the main reasons the first immigrants came here. Now, having said that, I don't trust many of the Islamic movements because of the extremists. Right, no, reality, yes. So, let them build and let them pray.
But don't let me find out you are plotting because so help me God...
From their carefully delineated treatise on Hijra, it is clear that migration in concert with military conquest comprise the bookends of Islamic expansionism.
"Solomon and Al Maqdisi review the phases of the Hijra and its juristic or legal basis in Islamic doctrine. Under the cover of taqiyya or deception, the step-by-step methodology of the migration process is designed to subdue, then, subjugate the host culture, culminating in implementation of shariah law."
This means that Islam will come back to Europe for the third time, after it was expelled from it twice Conquest through Da'wa [proselytizing], that is what we hope for. We will conquer Europe, we will conquer America! Not through sword but through Da'wa.

oh come on
FUQRA'S violence gained wider public notice in 1989, when police, seeking evidence in a series of thefts, searched a storage locker in Colorado Springs. They found a remarkable trove of armaments and documents, with multiple links to Fuqra.
Among the handguns, semi-automatic firearms, more than 30 pounds of explosives, pipe bombs, and bomb components were several bombs of an unusual design identical to that of a device recovered from the firebombed Hare Krishna temple in Denver. There was a large photo of Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, the blind cleric who would be convicted in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and target silhouettes labeled FBI Anti-Terrorist Team, Zionist Pig, Delta Team, and SAS (British Special Air Service), on which were found the fingerprints of James Donald Williams, Fuqra chief for Colorado, and the handwriting of Vincente Rafael Pierre (of whom more later). There were blank birth certificates, Social Security cards, and several sets of Colorado driver's licenses bearing identical photos but various names.
ftfy = fixed that for you
It's obviously not in code for morons...
When did you transfer to the maintenance dept??
Get tired of being a thought policeman??
With all due respect, henceforth I shall refer to you as Mr Fixit.
