To those "hoping it's true", this won't extend the coaching search. It's either Strong, or Fedora as the backup. I'd take Strong, in a heartbeat.

Time to bury the misguided dream that if Strong turns this down, it'll result in a giant name suddenly appearing out of the blue.

IF and I say again If this is true what is going on with our AD? Can he not sell our program, our facilities, our tradition, and our history? I hope my suspicions about Mr. Hart are all wrong and he is working fervently on this search!

Not talking about the delay. My comment was referring to the "no coaches" part. Look at the rescheduling and compare to the calendar. Last week before dead period. Coaches getting last minute visits and calls in.

It's either the DC from Urban's NC teams at Florida or the OC. Take your pick.

i was against Strong at first, i wanted Gundy but after further review i am overturning my call.Strong has a defense background that we need and more recruiting connections in the areas we have to recruit to be successful.

Wait til this joker goes and hires Smart or that Dykes guy then you will want Strong. Not saying he was my first choice but he's far from my last.
