Strong is not my first choice. That being said , he isn't the worst we could do. In fact , he is far from it. Face it , most names are going to be a let down. If we don't get a 'big name' coach , I will support Strong until he gives me a reason not to. There are some on the list I would question from day one. Golden for instance.

To those "hoping it's true", this won't extend the coaching search. It's either Strong, or Fedora as the backup. I'd take Strong, in a heartbeat.

Time to bury the misguided dream that if Strong turns this down, it'll result in a giant name suddenly appearing out of the blue.

It's interesting because if you read the actually Pat Forde article he mentions this ever so slightly....
