Kiffin is pretty much going to have to prove to any team's upper management- be it a college team's AD or an NFL team's F.O. - that he can be trusted with being in charge of another program.

Because what happened in Oakland, TN, and USC was all less than 10 years ago. It's still on his résumé and will still be fresh enough on the minds of any professional interviewing him.

Good point. If you're an AD and trust Kiffin, you deserve what's coming to you. There may be some dumb AD that hires him but I don't think there is a NFL GM that stupid.

Duke will be great place for Foster to start after Tech hires Cutcliffe.

I live in Virginia and I've heard a lot people close to the program say that Bud foster has had a problem with partying and hanging around the college girls. Not sure how true it is.

when does he usually go out? i'll check my schedule.

Hell, I could see USC offering Cut their job. Who are they going to get who's better from the college ranks? That said, he seems very content at Duke; I think he likes being in a less pressurized environment.

Bet he doesn't walk out on his team like a coward

Props to a great career.
Classy guy

Bet he doesn't have a championship on his resume and been the face of two football programs. :)

Quiting on your team mid season....kind of a coward move.

Scared of what? He's 70 with financial security. If you had told me months ago that I'd be defending Spurrier on any issue, I'd have had you committed, but this faux outrage is beyond silly. The man had nothing left to prove and still doesn't. It was a clean break and nothing would have been served by going through the motions for two months.

Dude is a class act without a doubt. Took a awful VT program and turned them into a national brand.

Is this true cause i got the impression he was pretty entrenched at AZ. Didn't know he was having issues with AD. If so I wouldn't touch him tbh because he falls every where he goes for one reason or another. I don't see it one way or another. Tom Hermin would be perfect fit.

Rich Rod fails? Wtf?

So much for player emotion on a coaches last home game -- no excuse not to beat Missouri now
