Anyone heard anything on this guy? Usually lists Tennessee as one of his schools and I think is suppose to visit around mid-July. Also goes to the same high school as '08 target Etienne Sabino.

Telfort and some other Florida prep players have been making the rounds on a recruiting visit bonanza, and from different sources, Telfort was majorly impressed by the coaches, the city, and the university. I think we're now at least in the conversation for Telfort. Ultimately, I think Miami gets him, but the Canes are poised for another 6-8 win season, so don't give up just yet.

Telfort recently went on the South Florida Express tour and visited South Carolina, Clemson, Tennessee, South Florida and Florida State. "Tennessee really stood out for me," he said. "Then I'd say it was Clemson and USF. "Tennessee is just beautiful," he said. "The scenery there is great and I loved all the mountains and the whole environment."

in another article he mentioned that his trip to Clemson was nice, but that the night life was boring.

Giles needs to give this guy a call. They are pretty close in location and they both want to work with medicine.

Miami absolutely loaded up at LB last year so unless he is a Miami homer I like our chances, especially if we get him here for a game.

i think we could possibly land both we are losing 3 line backers this year and possibly 4 if rico has a big yr...

Article on espn says Telfort has UF and UT on top right now. This guy looks great, and it'd be even better to get him away from the gators

According to ESPN affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com, Florida and Tennessee "have the inside track" for Under Armour All-American Frankie Telfort's signature.

He commented on those two programs, "I've seen Florida many times but now they've just put in a new weight room that's ridiculously huge."
"Knoxville is a beautiful town with all the surrounding hills and mountains. And Tennessee has a huge stadium. It seems like close-knit family there."

Im actually starting to feel as though we can steal him from UF. If Stan can pull this off then his receriting stature is well deserved.

Yeah, I think we have a good shot. My biggest concern is if Miami decides to offer.

i just got off the phone with my friend who knows frankie telfort really well and are good friends and said that he is looking at ut very hard and on his facebook he has pics up of him and coach fulmer holding up the natl championship trophy... i like are chances

I have never seen one football player in the mountains.

yea there were some great players on that tour..like mcgee, jamaal berry, lamar miller, and a bunch of other good players from the sunshine state

Telfort was the only major prospect that went on it

none of the others you listed made the trip
