I've said before in another thread, that they were all about Franklin, no shiano, no to munchak, people were not excited about those two.. shiano, wasn't impressed from Rutgers, and didn't like that the players hated him at tampa. Munchak, record speaks for itself, plus has no experience in recruiting. .

And the Metro PD has said nothing other than Vandy, and Franklin in particular, have been totally cooperative with the investigation.

A lot are thinking this is Franklin's way to negotiate a new stadium because they are "on the cusp of major SEC attendance"..Vandy dreams of a 60K stadium..The school might turn out some bright minds but the fans are dim.

So would it be funnier if he took the job, leaving Vanderbilt without their "best coach ever," or would it be funnier if he turned Penn State down to stay at Vanderbilt, of all places.

Also I agree about the rape thing. You just had a huge amount of media coverage for that and now you hire a coach that has yet to clearly be proven innocent of telling his players to get rid of rape evidence.

He's still getting interviews from NFL teams…and there's likely more money in those.

From sources close to the situation, #PennState has yet to offer anyone the job. Reports about an offer are inaccurate.

When a beloved coordinator is prosecuted for butt raping little boys in the shower, I think it's safe to say the program's fallen quite a bit.
