Even if Frank decided to get cold feet and stay, he has hurt some feelings. Also, does anyone really think he'll be there that much longer? Uh, no. Look at his resume. He bounces around quite a lot. Just like Strong at Louisville, someone is going to come at him every year. Louisville fans thought they had dodged a bullet when he turned UT down last year. One year later he goes to the other ut. If Frank doesn't leave now, he'll leave soon enough.

He got them to win close games and elevated recruiting. He is a solid coach and do well at PSU.

I guess Nashville High will have to settle into mediocrity.....again. Any guesses as to who's willing to sell that program to their recruits? They've got a couple of commits we may look at.:eek:lol:

I don't blame Franklin for leaving, but it's funny now considering all the crap he spewed the last few years about how going to Vandy was special and how he put down other programs; and now he's running away to one of the very programs he was trashing.

I wonder if James Franklin will be Vandy's Bruce Pearl; not the same scenario mind you, but in that he took the program to their best years in forever and I bet the next coach will constantly be reminded he's not James Franklin.

We can only hope so we can laugh. And Frank should only be compared to Pearl in that he turned the program around. Pearl won conf titles and did a ton more than Frank ever did.

That happens at every program where there has been a successful coach before....Look at Holly Warlick in the Lady Vols program and the standards she has to live up too.

Franklin will do well in the Big whatever-number-of-schools-they-now-have Conference. It's likely he already has Urban Meyer spitin' and sputterin' and he's not even had his first press conference. Can't happen to two better people, excluding Saban and Kiffin, of course.

He won't last 3 seasons at PSU.....once they discover he is no more of a coach than Lane Kiffin. Can anyone name ONE quality win he has had over a Quality opponent? I'll hang up and listen.........crickets.
