Frats are the lifeblood of UT, Who is best?

And regarding PiPhi, one of them asked me today if we were gonna do Pi Fly...I was like, dunno? (hopefully not...)

I actually sat next to a quirky hot one a couple semesters ago in an English lit class. We bullshat the whole time, making fun of all the moron English majors with no common sense

Who cares who is best? He should find a house that fits him, and what he is looking for. I rushed at ETSU and didn't find what was looking for. Made a lot of friends, ended up hanging out with pike most. Transferred to UT and pledged KA. Wouldn't trade my experience for anything in the world. I wouldve had a great experience had I pledged pike, but no doubt in my mind it wouldn't have been anything close to my time in KA.

I agree - but someone asked who the "best" was. I certainly wouldn't have fit in with a couple of the top tiers when it comes to # of members and biggest parties and such.

I do wish I could go back and do everything all over again know what I know now though. I was completely overwhelmed and oblivious to greek life.. had no idea what was true and what wasn't when hearing about fraternities.. and it's impossible to know what the 18ish (or whatever it is) fraternities have to offer in that week or two. A lot of 'em can put on a show yet they aren't as cool as you would think after rush, lol.

I'm in no position to rate them but I must say about every Phi Mu I've seen around campus has been FINE. KKG is probably second in that category.

The regional stuff does get pretty wild, but generally, we may have parties once a month. Kappa Sig (which my apartment looks over) seems to have parties three times a week.

The night I broke up with my girlfriend someone shot a bottle rocket at me from a window in Kappa Sig. I went in pushed about 20 dudes out of the way, found the guy, expressed my displeasure in a Bar Knox sort of way and then walked out feeling much better.

In my experience, I've never seen an unattractive Phi Mu. I don't know if I'm seeing just the attrative ones, but to this date I haven't seen an ugly one at all.

Frats are the period blood of UT, who is the least worst?

I don't know. That's like asking if Twilight is worse than Harry Potter

So who planked or got iced today?

Frats, please. Bunch of rich momma's boys; never had a problem with them until I got out of the USMC and went to college myself. I was training for Afghanistan at 18-19, they have no clue about the real world.

A number of my fraternity brothers joined the marines and served in Iraq. a couple of them were really in the thick of things. One of them was a bad ass mofo, won the Marine Boxing tournament over there. But was from the country, and a nice guy.. even if a little crazy. Hardly a bunch of mommas boys.

Do yourself a favor and stop by AXO's Shrimp Boil this year, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Very pleasantly.

When they came by our house once to propose some kind of event or something, they of course sent their hottest girls. Holy smokes, we wondered where the heck they came from. Anyway, we did the event, and the majority of them were fairly pedestrian. They did have an asian girl that was out of this world. wooo
