Home opener tomorrow! What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

Who's going? Anyone traveling a long distance to get here?

Those not planning to attend, what are your game day plans? Food menu?

Other college games you're looking forward to?

Anyone catching a high school game tonight?

It's an off topic thread, so post about whatever is on your mind tonight.

Go Vols!

Going tomorrow, the wife and I are coming to Knoxville from Kingsport for her first time in Neyland Stadium! I’m so freaking pumped up right now. I know it’s just Austin Peay but I have never been to a home game with an alternate uniform so pretty stoked about that also!

Today's Knoxville News Sentinel has you covered on game options to eat and park in the Go Knoxville section of the paper.

There are also articles on Spyre Sports and a couple of Florida watch parties being given by the Volunteer Club at Neyland Stadium and at the Jacob Building Tent at Chilhowee Park
during the Tennessee Valley Fair.

Also an article on how the Condredge Holloway Smokey Gray Uniforms came into existence.

I’ll be traveling to Chicago for work tomorrow and am hoping to see at least some of the game after my flight lands but before I have to go to a meeting and dinner. I already have my TiVo set to record the game replay on SEC Network next week, so I’ll see it all - eventually.

Today's my birthday...starting the last of the 40s.
Wife is taking me to dinner and then to the VFW for karaoke (yes, I always rip out a rendition of Rocky Top) where the IU fans will have the IU game on tv...and I agree with Coach Tom Allen - College ball should never be played on a Friday night.

Friend of ours is having a cookout tomorrow to christen his new "workshop" that happens to have a 55" TV. He's already stated he gets ESPN+ and the game will.be on for us transplants !!!

I'm gonna listen to the radio broadcast. Starting a major renovation next week which means I've got prep work to do. Hearing "into the cheggarboards" multiple times will make the work go faster.

I was finishing our basement during football season several years ago. Listening to us lose to Florida while framing up one of the corners. Took all my frustrations out driving nails into that multi-stud corner. The whole house may fall down before that corner does.

Not venturing into town today or tomorrow, Texas is coming. The University of Burnt warned my son on Mon that they are bringing an estimated 80,000 folks. They have rented every venue available for parties.
Be watching:
Nebraska v Colorado (eldest son lives in Lincoln)
My Beloved Vols
Burnt v Bama

Football for the youngest boy tomorrow morning, going to get home and catch some games before ours. Always look forward to our games. Best game of the day though, IMO, will be Bama/Texas. Going to watch with a few friends and kill some suds.

I’m leaving tomorrow going to Norris lake for a few days. I live in Kingsport so it’s about 1hr 40min drive. Check in is 4pm so I’ll be watching the game at the house I’m renting there then get up early the next day to do some all day fishing.

I'll spend tonight wishing I had NCAA Football 2023 so I could be creating Austin-Peay in the "Create A Team" editor, so I could then play a game as Tennessee against them and find out if the scoreboard actually does break after 200 points. And probably playing a game called Starfield to pass the time until kickoff. *exhale* It's a living.

I'm also looking forward to those. Ole Miss at Tulane, Texas A&M at Miami and (if you can stay up late enough) Auburn at Cal are also watch-worthy, IMO.
