Still deciding on whether to go deer hunt in the morning or go try to catch some Hybrid Stripers. Either way...I'll be home with a fridge full of Voodoo Ranger Juice Force or Imperial IPAs by 12:00 PM. After our Victory, I will get the steaks on the Akorn (Waffle House Hours is what I call it when I grill late at night.)
Where can you deer hunt this early in the year??

Since we won’t be back for 5 years .and that it reminds me of when we sent Spurrier packing in last game, Scored a booster parking spot next to stadium behind enemy lines . Seats are excellent on 40. . Chips nuts .. Ribs, bbq brisket, chicken . Cheese cake dessert. Liquid propulsion . Tent chairs grill battery tv and blue tooth speaker for Vol pre game . Corn hole. I am Ready.. Room at hotel after to crack the bottle of champagne. Going positive and confident for first time since 03.Felt that way too. Bring it. We are going to kick a$$

You guys know the drill.

Who's going to the game? Tailgating plans?

Those not going, what's your plan? Watching with friends/family? Going out to a bar/restaurant? What's on the food menu?

What else is on your agenda this weekend? Anyone catching a high school game tonight? What other NCAA games are you looking forward to this weekend?

I'd like to hear about any game day superstitions you might have. And those watching from home, let's see pics of those man caves!

As always, it's an off topic thread, so feel free to post about whatever is on your mind.

Will be watching from home, have some gator filets that’ll be going on the Traeger… debating making some chili too…

142 bucks worth of steaks and beer at the grocery store earlier for this evening for SO and some friends coming over from out of town.

Probably hit up First Watch for brunch tomorrow then a couple of distilleries for tastings and resupply for the game.

Likely will keep it simple for food to gnosh on tomorrow evening. Wings Wings and more Wings for protein and generic snacks. I'll be pounding too much bourbon to really care lol.

Personal favorite is to do cajun dry rub with some tiger to dip in on the side.

My trip to Gainseville in the 90s was enough for me to never go back.

We have a friend’s wedding tomorrow, so I’m hoping the reception venue has a TV. If not, I’ll be watching it as much as possible from my phone. It might be for the best to be honest

Heading up from North Redington Shores to Gainesville in the morning. Best friend driving down from Chattanooga. Will be in the 2023 version of the orange polo I wore every game last year. Same exact polo from Turtleson, just had to size down thanks to fixing my diet. Like @LakeMaryFLVol , was able to snag a parking pass from one of the enemy. Tennessee whiskey only for my liquor tomorrow, as is Gameday tradition.

Having Gator sausage jambalaya tonight. Keeping an eye on the UTSA game; I saw another poster is as well.

As always, Go Big Orange!

Watching the UTSA game on tv to get a first hand look at next week's opponent.

ESPN is carrying the game at 7 p.m. against Army.

I mentioned in this thread last week about a possible transplant for my wife. We just had a zoom call with the team at USC Keck medical center, and it looks like she's going to be the world's first ever bladder transplant patient. There's some ground work to do, so it'll likely be a couple of months. I'm just mentioning, because we need folks who pray to be praying if you will.

Thanks man. And yes, the bladder has never been done. They've done it on living body donors, but were brain dead. It's been successful each time, so they got approved to go forward. Her situation just happened to make her the perfect candidate.

Wife and I are headed down I-75 to Gainesville for our first experience in the swamp. Have heard all the horror stories some have posted on here, but we'll just have to take our chances. Plus, when you're 6'3" and 250+ lbs, people tend to leave you alone. Went to Baton Rouge last year and had a wonderful time. Here's hoping this trip turns out the same. After that we're heading on to Cocoa Beach for a few days. Go Vols!!!
We had one had a guy like you in 85 and it didn't matter. Enjoy your trip and Cocoa Beach
