Off topic, as if there is a topic, but my Thanksgiving was pretty cool. My son (6) has never seen Neyland being that we live in Arkansas, and since we were in town visitng family, my uncle and I drove him over to the campus. We drove around the outside a few times then lo and behold, saw there was a tunnel that was open. We parked and just walked right on to the checkerboards and on to the field. Took some pics at he 50 yd line on the power T, it was awesome. Then someone told us practice was about to begin so we had to jet. My son and I then watched the players walk into practice. Pretty cool experience being that I've never actually made it onto the field in my 42 years. My son as in awe too. I know, cool story bro.

My parents took me by Neyland on the way to Gatlinburg when i was little and we went in too, it was awesome.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Anybody do any shopping today? Any plans for the game tomorrow?

Home Depot, ryobi grinder $30 was still around at 8:30. I hope this thread is still civil! Go Big Orange and a salute to the brave souls trekking to the kenturkey game!

Man that brings back memories, the first time I saw the inside of Neyland was when my parents took me to the Worlds Fair and I rode the Ferris Wheel with my Mom. At the time it was the worlds largest ferris wheel and at the top you could see thru one of the gates and see the field. I already was a vol fan but that was the most impressive thing I had ever seen. I was hooked for life. Thanks Mom

I made it on the field once...sat dead center of the cross bar 20 rows up when when Florida choked in 1998.....was on the field in a matter of seconds!!! John Finlayson picked me up and literally bear hugged me until I nearly blacked out....best memory in Neyland Stadium I may ever have!

About to leave Memphis for middle TN. Then head up to Lexington with the Mrs. and my parents for the game tomorrow.

I expect it to be an ugly game but I can't help myself from going.

Someone convince me Tennessee will win tomorrow. And if we lose, have we hit rick bottom?

I think last week was the biggest game in Butch Jones career, and he came up short. tomorrows game is meaningless, but if CBJ loses it, then he lost the locker room like Dooley, And in that case he will have just one more year before I turn on him. We went into the season with only one QB and even he was average at best, We have no identity, we tried the read option, Power I, Although the run game is better, we still cant get a yard when we need it, cept maybe the GA game. I still wonder why no beast or Pig package. I think we could ran it the whole second half against Vandy and won. Very very disappointed in this year.

There is absolutely no way we will lose tomorrow. We may have had a bad season but UK is a steaming pile of crap. They are the dumpster fire of all dumpster fires. If for some reason the stars aligned and UK had the game of their lives and UT completely bombed I still don't think they could beat us. BUT, if for some reason they did, then yes, I would call that rock bottom.

Hard to argue with that…..but when we throw a screen, let's all hope it isn't "blocking optional".
We shouldn't have any problem letting the lineman through untouched to set it up.

How about some draw plays to Neal and AJ

It's a late night at the firehouse. What's good with everyone? We're going to win. Freak I was thinking about these off topic threads, and maybe there bad luck.

There has been some good football games on today. LSU about blew it, and Oregon pulled one out late.
