I noticed the ole "Play for pride" article on the front page. Really? This group of seniors lost that years ago. The ones who need to step up today are the Juniors and Soph. This has the same feel to it that we had the last time we went to Kentucky. I would like to see where this team is buying in to the new system. They were FLAT last week. The O line has been over rated all year.

Man, It's not that they haven't bought into the system, I think this team is exhausted from this schedule. I mean vandy isn't the vandy we played in the early years, they are a solid team now, add that with 7-8 other ranked teams and half of them being top 5. As a rebuilding program, we don't have depth, so the seniors are typically asked to do a lot more. I think we see the lack of depth catching up and exhaustion. It is a grind. People talk about Dooley really screwing us up, but kiffin is the reason for this mess. A full class is missing, and the significance of probation=scholarships being taken, was a huge deal. That has now caught us. One more thing,everyone discusses the 4th down fake field goal a bad play, well I am neutral because palardt was having a bad game and we did need to score. But I will say not all coaches make perfect calls. I recall spurrier punting on a 3rd down. Fans questioned that but it was a brilliant decision at the end of the game because it worked out.

I understand your point, but considering the number of seniors who see significant playing time, it would be hard to win if they aren't all in tonight. But we certainly need the young guys to step up as well.

Due to the fact that we are going to have 85 early entries and the NCAA agrees that the world is a better place when TENNESSEE FOOTBALL is contending for championships, spring practice begins the day after the Kentucky football game
