Freak's night before the UGA game admittedly off topic thread

Yeah I am. My signature victory though was vs South Carolina in 09 whenever we came out in the black jerseys. If we win tomorrow, I request some credit :)

We've got it on the record, for everyone to see. Where are you sitting?

We have started a new thing this year: Buffalo chicken garbage bread. It's incredible.

Hmmm. I have to question the use of garbage in a food title.

Didn't he saw cars in half the night before games?

What gave it away?

Anchorage. I need to get down to Kodiak. There is some really good hunting on the island.

Im not much of an outdoorsman, but I went to visit about 13 years ago amd we went deep see fishing. I caught a 27 pound King Salmon. We also stayin in Anchorage for a few days. I loved it up there.

It's an omen, went to an October Fest tonight and this was my wristband.......and I live in Florida! GBO!!!!!

You better hold on to that. If it's indeed lucky, we are going to need it the next couple of months. :)

Hard to believe that was six years ago.

I'm not much of an outdoorsman either, but that sounds fun.

I'm not sure. It was before my time. I was hoping for a little clarification about that.

It was actually before my time too. I found this on Wikipedia.

Reynolds earned his nickname in 1969 by cutting an abandoned 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air (some accounts claim it was a Porsche) in half with a hacksaw after his previously unbeaten University of Tennessee team returned from an embarrassing 38-0 road loss to Ole Miss. "I came back to school and I was very upset," Reynolds said. "I had to do something to relieve my frustration." He decided to turn the abandoned car into a trailer for his newly purchased Jeep. After working through the night on the project, chewing through 13 hacksaw blades, he returned the next day with some teammates to show off his handiwork. However, when they arrived, both halves of the car were gone. For the remainder of his career, the nickname stuck.[1]

To answer the question posed by Freak...

I don't get good vibes about this game tomorrow. Just too many "if this goes our way" things that have to fall into place, the stars in perfect alignment, fingers crossed and sacrificing a goat at sunup tomorrow have to be in order for us to get a victory.

That being said, I do hope we show significant improvement. It's something for CBJ to point to and say "we are improving" and show the potential recruits how the program is on the up and up. He is, if anything, a talented recruiter and will knows the words to say.

Now the USCe game, that's a different matter entirely.

Could you imagine a player doing that this day and age? It would probably be a violation.

They'd probably send him to jail, or at least send him for psychological evaluation.

I think first and foremost Tennessee has to win the turnover battle, by a couple, and win special teams. Then, have a lot of other things go our way.
