Freak's night before the UGA game admittedly off topic thread

Does anyone else hate the guy cheerleader that comes out with a microphone and tries to get the crowd fired up? He fails miserably every time. When did that even become part of the pre game? Dooley's first year?

First time I saw it was 2009 against UCLA. I think I wasn't the only one in the stadium standing there thinking "WTF?"

Me. Mostly because I sit near a speaker and he nearly deafens me every week.

Unless they replaced them with these grey.

Thanks.

Pee balloons would be a good vote on his popularity.

Normally just my son and I go to the games because my wife works on Saturday, but she took off for this one.

Last one she attended, Arkansas when they had McFadden and Felix Jones. We won convincingly.

Capable yes...

In that current role? Not yet.

As coach keeps saying, gotta get the depth.

In my mind, I think of the last defensive play against S. Alabama when Corey Vereen got pressure and we ended up with the interception. Man, he's been impressive IMO.

It's pretty much the corner. Not exactly the corner but not necessarily in the middle of the end zone either. Not amazing seats but you can't beat first row IMO

They sound pretty amazing to me. I know not everyone does, but I love sitting close to the field.

I sat on the front row in Tempe in '98.

I can't put my finger on it but Nevada's fight song reminds me an awful lot of someone else's....
