Freak's night before the UGA game admittedly off topic thread

Haha... go figure. Kid showed it tonight. He put that team on his back.

We gave him an offer, but he's not showing significant interest in any particular team at the moment. As the old saying goes "so you are saying I have a chance!"

Here's one for you. What would you do if he committed but that means losing Hurd. Do you still take him? Pick your answer carefully. :)

Freak,
Are you ever going to choose a pick the score winner from the past 2 weeks? Just wondering, or did I miss it?

You missed it. Look at the first post in this week's thread. Speaking of, I don't think I sent the cards yet though.

Booooooo! You aren't fun! Why can't I have both?!

Okay, looking at taking a #1 recruit but losing a #4...my answer?

Hurd has some issues. He's committed early before seeing this season, so I'd say he's good to go. However, just had shoulder surgery and is out for his senior year. And this is the second surgery on the same shoulder.

So the real question is, do you retain a #4 recruit that has medical issues, but is from Tennessee and has committed to our program? As well as keeping to the promise CBJ made of going in state more for recruiting?

Or take the #1 recruit that is playing his options and hasn't committed to anyone yet? No good answer here.

I got it. Last time I looked in that thread you were saying you were getting behind. My bad. How do I send you my info?

No, in my scenario he's commited to UT, but if you take him Hurd says he's leaving. If it helps you I would keep Hurd, but I'm about as loyal as a dog. What's that old saying? Your only as good as your word...or something like that. I would keep my word and keep Hurd. Plus you'll know you have a kid that loves the program and bust his aaa for you.
