2011 QB prospect Everett Golson of defending AAA South Carolina state champ Myrtle Beach was 8-23 for 65 yards, 0 INT & 1 TD on Friday September 11. They lost 65-14. They were playing Byrnes High School so I guess his stats can be overlooked for that week. I imagine Tennessee's DE commits Corey Miller and Brandon WIllis were all over him. Last year, I went to the Byrnes-Pahokee game and the Byrnes defense kept QB Nukeese Richardson very well contained. If you hadn't already known, you would not know from that game that he was a 4-star prospect.

Heard Jacques dominated tonight. I would love to see stats/footage. Did he go one/one with Stone most of the night? Any one with info, thanks.

They said in another thread he had 13 tackles, 2 sacks, 6 tackles for loss. He wasn't lined up against James Stone the whole night but all over the place

When he was lined up on him was he saying, "Hey James, come to Tennessee and let's play on the same team next year...." ? :)

He's the best Q.B. in the entire state. Hands down bar none. On two of those T.D.'s, he hiked it to himself, threw a 70 yard (in the air) pass to himself and even kicked the two extra points.

Demarco Cobbs
Tulsa Central rode the explosions of remarkable Demarco Cobbs to a win over Ada Friday night at S.E. Williams Stadium.
It took a big play by Cobbs — ranked the No. 2 athlete in the nation by ESPN recruting and that organization’s Southwest Region Player-of-the-Week — to give the Braves the points they would need.
Echoing his late pre-halftime heroics against Ada a year ago, Cobbs picked up a Cougar fumble off a hit by Gerard Anderson and raced 42-yards untouched to a 14-7 lead with 4:05 left in the second quarter.
In the matchup of D-1 recruits (Cobbs is a Tennesse commit), Black was harrassed all night by the swarming Central defense. Coming off a 200-plus yards effort last week against Coweta, he rushed 15 times for 45 yards.

Matt Milton
Mascoutah got a pair of third-quarter touchdown runs by Matt Milton and held off a late charge by Civic Memorial as the Indians posted a 25-22 Mississippi Valley Conference win on Friday.

Milton, a Tennessee recruit, ran for three TDs on the night
