I would not say that... I'd just say that it is very difficult for us to know. Different play calls, different D's, different WR sets, etc. A large number of variables can make situations more difficult without us being able to discern it.

I agree, just find it hard to believe they'd tip the scales for or against one of the QBs in an honest open competition, which I have no reason to not believe it is.

Seems more plausible that throwing off his backfoot is just a bad habit that Worley needs to break.... like Dobbs' and Peterman's bad habit of holding the ball too long and Ferguson's bad habit of being too loose with the ball.

They might tip the scales because they know when they've challenged one guy more than the others. They can weigh that into their position scoring.

I don't honestly know that's happening. It was the case last year and in previous years going back at least to the "competition" between Ainge and Crompton when I first noticed it... after foolishly declaring that Ainge stank and that Crompton would overtake him by mid-season.

What I do take some comfort in is that UT's back 7 on D now has experience to go with talent. I feel good about the WR's being able to make plays against them. The uncomfortable part is that we cannot know how UT's OL will hold up against other DL's.

Agree that is a tendency that Worley has when under pressure. If I were the OC, I would try to put each QB in a situation to work on the weaknesses you mentioned as often as possible. Wouldn't you?

I still think UT has 4 talented QB's to choose from and at least 3 that can the Vols can win behind.
