Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

1/22/24 - 161.2
1/26/24 - 159.5
2/2/24 - 158.3
2/9/24 - 156.5

I probably won’t lose much next week. I’m taking a cheat day on Sunday for the Super Bowl. I’ll enjoy a couple of brews, some pizza, and a dessert at my favorite local bar. But then on Monday, it’s back to business.
 
Just now weighing in on this thread but:
August 2023- 279
February 2024- 260
Was down to 255 last Thursday but went on a weekend getaway and didn’t watch closely. I fluctuate a ton though. Usually 5-7 lbs. I have however been as high as 299 back when I was in college. Thankfully the highest since then has been 279. Goal weight is 220.
 
The beginning of last year I was 170 lbs. Early this year I was 205 lbs, a disturbing trend. I felt awful, hadn't been exercising like I should, and eating unhealthily. Several weeks ago I made a commitment to change this by exercising consistently and eating better. I have been doing at least 2 miles on the treadmill 5 days a week over the past several weeks and eating better. I am now down to 192.8 lbs. My goal is 180 lbs. I can't even begin to describe how much better and more energetic I feel already.

How tall are you?

I’m 6.2 and my goal moves all over the place.
195 was too small. Shoulders and elbows and knees hurt at that weight. I feel a lot better at 205.

I ate around a 1000 calorie deficit per day last week and still gained weight. But I’m working out hard every day and I know I’m doing the right things, so I’ve got to believe the weight loss is coming.
