Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

I’ve cut the calories on the “my plate” app and will gradually be returning to 195.
I expect it to take 8 weeks ish
Attaboy. I put on about 5 lbs over the holidays, but have started cutting calories the last few days. I’d realistically like to get to 185. Don’t know if that’s realistic or not

Not looking forward to tomorrow.
Went crazy about thanksgiving and didn’t reign it in till the day after Christmas. So I haven’t weighed in a while.
Hopefully for 209 or less tomorrow. 🤞

I was talking to a friend of Red’s yesterday about weight gain. She said “I just don’t understand why I gain so fast and lose so slow”. I’ve always said that’s a problem but I’ve never had a problem understanding it. It pretty simple really. If you need to consume 2000 calories a day to stay where you want to be then 4000 a day will put weight on you in a hurry. But unfortunately you can’t consume 0 calories a day to take that weight back off. Not a live to talk about it anyway

Women generally could use a whole lot more muscle mass. More muscle generally = higher metabolism. Less muscle = “gain so fast and lose so slow.” Even if you’re not getting enough cardio, those with more muscle burn calories faster.

Last weigh in was 12/6. Weighed in today ----> +1 since that weigh in. +3.2 since pre-thanksgiving weigh-in. So 3.2 over the holidays is not too bad.
