Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is able to enjoy some time with family today and have a delightful feast. Today is not the day to count calories. Enjoy it, and get back on track tomorrow!
Amen. Take the day off and pig out. You won't get fat after one day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone

I figured I’d better post now BEFORE the Thanksgiving bloat! I’m 4 weeks into my “mini-bulk”. It’s been awesome getting to eat!! Looking to continue the bulk through the New Year, then go back to a 500 calorie deficit.

Good times!

Three pounds under goal. Lowest weight since I started in June.

I ate what I wanted yesterday, a spoonful of everything (pretty much all starch except for the turkey, lol). And it was glorious not feeling miserable after.

It was the absolute perfect day. Carrying tables and chairs up from the den, multiple flights of stairs getting things ready, and getting steps in just working in the kitchen. Then after everyone (22 of us in all) was finished eating, we played corn hole, did an egg toss, played with the kids, and just moved around - a lot. After everyone left, we watched TV for a few minutes, drank another cup of coffee, and started taking everything down. We got up at 4:15 yesterday, the usual time, and finished everything around 6:30. House was back to normal, and every thing cleaned and put away.

The difference in my joints, especially knees, is honestly magical. If you are reading this, and not old enough to understand the impact of what I'm saying, count your blessings.

Sorry for the book.

Happy Friday everyone!

I've been more or less averaging at maintenance calories the last couple of weeks. I was intending on maintaining the diet but the workouts make me hungry. Hopefully I can get back on track soon, I would like to lose another 20 lbs of fat.
