6/11 213.7 (2.6) should of been more. Very little exercise the last 3 days because of aggravated hamstring/calf muscles behind the knees (both legs). Feeling better this morning but yesterday I considered calling local sports physician for an appointment to have x-rays or ask for physical therapy.

7.5 miles hiking in Roan Mountain area yesterday. Results should show up in a day or two. Burned about 2000 calories during the hiking activities and 3600 calories for the day.
Looked up personal trainer videos on YouTube. I also have plantar facitas at times. The two I have watched the most often are “Bob and Brad” and “AskDoctorJo” For hamstrings and Plantar Facitas they have videos on stretching, self massage and using a hard surface ball or tennis ball to massage the sore areas. Planter Facitas, Hamstrings and Calf’s muscles all influence each other.Great work!
What did you decide to do about the hamstrings? Are they feeling better? My left hammies are starting to be chronically contracted, and it’s really limiting my movements. I don’t know whether to just do a home stretching program, or jump straight to the pros. Never experienced anything like this before.
Thanks, I will check those out!Looked up personal trainer videos on YouTube. I also have plantar facitas at times. Took me about a week before I was pain free but only about a day after I followed some of the instructions in the videos.
