Fromm possibly entering draft

He doesn't have an NFL arm. He's a smart kid but has to put a lot of air under any deep throw. He's got the back shoulder out pattern thing down but only if he has super WRs to save him. He's a lot like Wuerfful, he floats anything deep. Spurriers system having trailing WRs wide open across the middle gave Wuerfflul the Heisman not his talent which the NFL discovered.
Seems like I heard his hands are too small as well and that’s why he struggled with a wet ball against SC. I don’t know if that’s true or not as I haven’t watched him play enough but the kid usually plays well in big games from what I recall.

Fromm got exposed this year with a mediocre group of receivers. He’s a game manager and doesn’t make too many mistakes but lacks the arm talent that you need in the NFL. He’s also had the luxury of handing off to two really good running backs and being protected by a really good offensive line. He’ll get drafted, but probably way later than he thinks.

Apparently fromm’s completion percentage to Cager and Pickens was around 70% and sub 50% to other receivers. Some of the blame can be on the receivers, but he flat out missed a ton of throws. QB’s are overvalued in the NFL, so someone will take a chance. Just depends on how much he thinks he can improve his stock.

I wonder if he thinks Georgia is a sinking ship. I’m really surprised he’s not doing another year.

I think he will declare. Fromm is small. With Georgia losing much of their o-line, he would take a beating next year.

Yes, Georgia has peaked and definitely sinking.

UGA will lose Andrew Thomas for sure and possibly Isiah Wilson. UGA’s o line recruiting has been lights out, so I doubt line play will be an issue for them next year. Receiver and QB play should be much more concerning. UGA went 3-1 against ranked teams and won the east for the third straight year. I’d have to see them lose the east before I’d consider UF or UT the new leaders of the East. If they beat Baylor they’ll technically show improvement from last year.

You know, and I know, they are stale fish

They just aren’t the hot team any more. It’s LSU right now and it’ll stay that way until another SEC team dethrones them. UGA wont have a recruiting issue under Smart, but he won’t be pulling more number 1 classes unless he can make the playoffs again. It’ll be interesting to see the offensive talent Brady pulls in at LSU.

Yes, I agree with that.

Regarding the o-line:
They will lose both tackles who were both great players.
Cleveland was a senior.
Cade wants to come home to join his brother.
The centers stay injured and were the weak spot.

They will have a bunch of new faces up there.

Losing Sam Pittman is a killer.

Jake will leave.

Cleveland is a junior and Trey Hill only got hurt once this season. I agree the tackles are great, but unless Cade actually transfers UGA has plenty of depth. Cade is a 5*, Salyer is a 5*, and then they have a ton of 4*. If Trey Hill does have issues they could always slide him out to his natural position at G and put Webb at C who was a 5* last year. I just don’t see O-line being an issue for UGA next year. If they lose Tate and Jones then they’ll be hurting in 2 years or so, but they have enough depth to make it through losing 2 tackles this year. UGA’s main issue for next year is gonna be QB and WR. Fromm might leave, Pickens is volatile, and Blaylock just had a complete tear to his ACL. On top of that I don’t believe Coley is a great play caller. So plenty of issues, just not OL imo.

You may be right

lol I could be wrong too. Just my opinion. Maybe the line will be an issue next year too. Just seems like QB and WR based off this year and UGA doesn’t have a Joe Brady coming in to fix everything.

I'm surprised that Mike Bobo didn't land at UGA.

Think it was Hutson Mason that said they were too good of friends to work together. On top of that I don’t think Bobo is the answer for UGA. Neither is coley, but apparently Kirby thinks he didn’t get a fair shot this year due to injury. If UGA wants to succeed they need to get away from bully ball and update their offense.

It was sunny and 80 degrees in Athens GA the day of the USCe game. It was Fromm's worst performance of the regular season, but it was not because the ball was wet.

Perhaps I’m mixing some things up but I’ve definitely heard the comment. Again, I have no idea if true or not. I’ve not seen him play poorly in the rain but I don’t know if I’ve seen him play in the rain at all. I thought the weekend with all that rain was the one of UGA-SC, even if it had moved it by then but maybe it was a different weekend.

lol well at least for y’all I think Pruitt will be more willing to change and adapt. Kirby’s early success may make him too stubborn while Pruitt is hungry and looking to make moves. Plus UT has proven they’re willing to spend money on hires. If there’s a school with the AD and money to steal Brady, it’s UT.

I think that Phil Fulmer has turned things upwards....we shall see?

That was probably the Kentucky game. If ky had a qb, Georgia would've lost.
