FSU fires OC, DC and WR Coach

Now we’re getting somewhere! Mr Bill has a thought besides stroking his ego.

How do you explain the sudden drop off and nonchalant attitude of Stoops if that isn’t quiet quitting? You’re a denialist - a crude one at that.

What is the point of firing both coordinators mid season if not to try to get Norvell to leave or do something worthy of firing him? What’s your best theory on how that solves anything other than trying to get Norvell to leave?

His career would be over? He turned Memphis and FSU into conference champions. The guy has better credentials than 90% of college coaches. 😂
Tell me you’ve never paid attention to Mark Stoops better without telling me

Norvell isn’t leaving that contract to just whither away. Coaching changes regularly shake up the locker room. If he “quiet quit” no one would touch him despite his previous record, which you already proved you didn’t know about in the other thread. He’s one good portal season from being right back in it

I can’t argue with you if you don’t make sense. Know Stoops better?

Norvell leaving a contract wouldn’t be quiet quitting. In Quiet quitting, you don’t actually quit. You continue showing up and pretending to care while getting paid. Read the definition again that someone was kind enough to explain.

Again, I don’t need the definition. Explain, for the first time how it gets FSU out of the buyout like you initially claimed

Oh wait, you can’t. You can’t do much of anything except spin circles. I’m done until you actually answer the initial thing that caused a response

I never claimed that quiet quitting got anyone out of a buyout. Quitting or giving provable cause would. You’ve been putting words into my mouth, arguing with yourself, Bill.

I’m sorry, what?
If they can get him to stop doing his job, they can fire him and not pay him a buyout. If he can do the bare minimum, then they can’t get out of the buyout. You are the single more tiring person to explain coaching contracts to.

If you were so confused, you could have acted like you were raised right and asked politely. I could have told you the same thing yesterday.

stop doing his job? wtf. And you literally said get him to quiet quit to get out of a buyout. I’m sorry you can’t comprehend your actual words

You have a pompous attitude so we cant have a civilized conversation. I clarified what I said for you and you’re still acting like you were raised in a crack house.

I just stated what you said and you continue to pretend you didn’t say and dance around the fact. You can call me whatever you want, you just can’t admit you’re full of it

This is a strange conversation. The bottom line is that Norvell ain’t quitting or “quiet quitting” (whatever the heck that is). Like innumerable other coaches, he’ll either get it turned around or he’ll get fired and FSU will pay the full buyout. Unless Norvell gets tired of it all and negotiates an early buyout. But I’d be surprised if that happens and he leaves millions of dollars on the table. He’d be stupid to do that.

Read an article today that FSU boosters are clearing house for Deon Sanders.

Jerry Jones is just crazy enough to get into a bidding war with them over Sanders and I am here for it.

As Steven A said, if he could bait the panthers into swapping picks and get Shadour, and package a deal with Prescott to get back in the T10 they could get a sweet deal Hunter and sacrifice the organization for years to come. 🤣

Deion would approve them to play in Dallas obviously.

Quiet Quitting: doing the absolute bare minimum to get by.

OK I’ll buy the definition. So what other program would hire him in the future knowing he pulled that on FSU? If I’m an AD looking for a coach, I wouldn’t touch him. He’s be committing career suicide.
