FSU or Miami???

I really wouldn't want either. However, if forced to take one, I would definitely say FSU without a doubt. Miami has one of the worst money generating athletic programs in the ACC if I remember correctly.

I would like to see Texas A&M and Oklahoma come along with Virginia and North Carolina.

Four new states, four markets, and 3 of them bring in a big time Athletic budget that can hold their own in the SEC.

There is an endowment tie in with Texas and Texas A&M but that will be worked out shortly I assume.

North Carolina won't leave the ACC and leave Duke, Wake Forest, and NC State behind so that will never happen. They're an old school ACC team and are a lot more concerned with basketball than football. Virginia prob wouldn't leave the ACC either.

FSU and it isn't close.

With that said... I'd like to add aTm, FSU, Clemson and GTech.

i dont really see the benefit of getting either team.. the gators already control the whole state. there is more money to be made elsewhere. I for one would like to see them get texas A&m or maybe north carolina.. but then again i doubt unc would go anywhere without duke, who brings NOTHING but basketball.

with all that said if i absolutely had to choose one i would say florida state. but i have no real reason behind it.

FSU. They're competitive in almost every sport. Good pub. Plus they've always had a lot of my respect. Also could you imagine what the UF vs. FSU rivalry would become if they were in the same conference. FSU gets my vote.

Why would we bring in another Florida school when the opportunity to get into whole new state markets is out there?

i would like a good rivalry with Miami, but I think it would be better for the conference to take FSU. 1st off, the Hurricanes stadium is in the slums. Not sure I would want to travel there for a game. There fan base does not travel very well either. I say FSU

I think you are a couple of years behind. Miami plays home games here:

Why FSU, Clemson, and GaTech? We are already in all those markets. Why not add some new markets in states we don't currently have a market in? (NC, VA, TX, ect.)

Florida State. Seems like we recruit more in and around Miami, another SEC team down there would only make that harder, but then again that could hurt Florida more.

They still can't fill out the stadium.

Neither can USC but that is normal when you have private schools in the middle of paradise....Got a few other things to do in those cities than go to ball games or at least that's what a lot of people think.

miami----it would be a lot more fun to go down there for a road game and party in south beach with all the hot chicks and clubs than go to tallahassee---a total dump with nothing to do

+1 Every other year I would get to go to South Beach and spend an extra three or four days there. Thats much better than having to go to Tallahassee, which is still better than Blacksburg.
